Delicious and must stop by when you're in Chinatown. Noodles are hand made and shaved to order. Very little msg and meats are very tender

As soon as you walk in, you feel the cozy authentic atmosphere. They’ll bring hot tea when you sit. Menus are beautiful and well-priced. Food comes to you within 15-20 minutes after you order. I had the duck noodle, chicken noodle and satay beef dumplings. Although, the satay dumplings isn’t much to talk about, the hand drawn noodles and broth are absolutely delicious and FRESH! Overall, this is a must place to eat and the prices are affordable.

Long standing authentic and inexpensive Chinese restaurant featuring fresh handmade noodles. Nan Zhou has long been one of our favorites in Philly's Chinatown neighborhood. A decade ago they were a tiny restaurant with a limited menu a block from where they are now. The new location and menu however still feature the core classics that made them locally famous. On our most recent visit we noticed they have finally increased their $4 peanut noodles all the way to $4.25. Seriously. This place is dedicated to their methods and it shows in their noodles. Get the peanut noodles. Cash Only.

Best noodles in Chinatown. So cheap, and huge portions. I get the veggie noodles, load them up with vinegar and chilis, and usually end up with enough left over for dinner later.

WOW.  I mean WOW.The unassuming little place with small tables feels like a take out joint but don't let that stop you from enjoying what could very well be the best place on Race.My 17 y/o daughter is a fan of og lo mein style and this place was the best she had anywhere! The noodles across the board were phenomenal, well prepared and tasty. We sampled the dumplings, all of them and they were better than we had at Dim Sum Garden.Truly a little gem!

Perhaps the best noodle soup in Philadelphia Chinatown. Definitely worth a visit. If wondering what to feed your date prior to hooking up, this would be my first choice.

A definite go-to spot and with so many options in the area, that says a lot! The dumplings are incredible. We had both the chicken curry and the pork chive dumplings. I could eat a million of each! As an entree, I went with the roast pork with hand-drawn noodles. Ask for it spicy, you will thank me later! Can’t wait to head back to this spot and try something new. Highly recommended!

Awesome noodle soup! Really tasty steamed beef dumplings. It's cash only and they have smaller tables, but I knew about this ahead of time, so it wasn't an issue for me. Definitely take the time to stop in!

One of the best noodle place. Food was awesome and place was packed. Service was good considering how busy they were. Only down side is cash only.

Delishiosooo and scrumptious !! Reasonably priced and quick service . Just bring out the appetizer before the meal. (I would have given 5 stars , if not for the fact I had to break bread with Sean the GOAT , but that's my problem) . Will be back,

Highly recommend, I've been here twice and ordered the braised beef noodle soup each time. Perfect for a chilly day and reminds me of what I had growing up - the broth was flavorful, beef was tender, and noodles were the right texture. Heads up that it's cash only.

Amazing food. At the end, the servers would say its a cash-only place. As a tourist, I didn’t expect to bring my Canadian credit cards here. A nice customer offered to help pay. Luckily I had the change.
