Great chicken teriyaki

This place definitely has changed a lot, miss the old owners. The naengmyeon was not to good and the kimchi :(

This place surpassed my expectations. Quality of food was great. Those in my dining party were reaching all over the table to share because everyone's food tastes great! Wish we took photos, but their spicy soup, fish cake soup and bibimbap are fantastic!

Their teriyaki chicken is some of the best around!

Portions are tiny, food was average. Definitely have had better. A dab of sides that just makes you wonder why they think that is sufficient for an adult. Plenty of better Korean places...don't wast your time and money here.

I had the gamjatang (potato bone soup), which was just ok. It had a decent amount of meat but potatoes and vegetables were lacking. I was disappointed in what I ate especially for the paying $16 total for soup. I don't recommend going here especially for the prices.

I left my review from before in here because I want to show the difference in the gap of time that's changed. The hours are sloppy some days never open some days closing earlier than normal maybe they are short staffed I don't know but it's honestly the lack of portions you get now bulgolgi is literally two bites of meat and your lucky to even get meat in the soup I'm honestly let down from here lately and I don't know if I will come back I've been coming here for years atleast 12 or more. Hands down best jiggae I've had in forever. I used to live in Korea and finding places to compare will never exist but if I want comfort jiggae this will always be my first choice. Portions did get smaller for example bulgolgi is more veggie than meat so I just stick to jiggae there now which is why 4 stars instead of 5 because you pay the same for alot alot less. Other than that it's my top Korean place to go to.

Portions are so small and tastes bad. This was spicy squid for $18. Mostly onion and like 10 pieces of squid and it didn’t even taste good. Never returning.

The worst pork bone soup I've ever had. Never will this restaurant ever get any of my money again. Why have a restaurant if your gonna cook this way. (Thanks for responding) Seems like you used ramen seasoning for our soup base. It was horrible. It was good years ago but now its so bad. Such a negative owner who can't take criticism. Now I see why when we eat at the Chinese restaurant next door you have little to no customers. You can eat gamjatang at any other korean restaurant on South Tacoma way and they all taste similar. Your soup base wasn't even close. I'm korean too.

This was some GREAT Korean food. They are most notably known for their Kimchi soup. My Korean friend’s father, a self-proclaimed Kimchi soup snob, was quoted as saying, “this may be the best Kimchi soup I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a LOT of Kimchi soup.” We’ve also tried their spicy beef stew and beef soup, both of which are very good. Such an unassuming restaurant for how good their food is and how delightfully friendly their service can be. Only problem with this restaurant is - they’re not open enough! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A group of my friends came in to eat because this was our regular place to eat at. Ownership changed some time ago and they turn off the "open" sign and say they are closed. I guess they don't like cooking for a group of people, as we are about to leave I turn back and watch one of the workers the sign back on. I find that strange because it wasn't even busy. Guess working hard is not part of their environment

We love the food here! My boyfriend is Korean and this is the only place he will eat at. Fast , fresh and plenty of it!
