Nice food, nice environment and good customer service!

I had the Lamb. I think its called Dibi lamb . It was Awesome. a little dry but great. Also had the Gingembre(ginger/pineapple). Amazing.

I celebrated my 21st birthday dinner here and it was amazing. The food was great, well season, and the decor was elegant and very traditional west African. I recently moved hours away and traveled one hour and thirty minutes away just for the scenery and great taste. This restaurant is a treasure. Can’t wait for the new one to built in silver spring

My Husband and I ate here today. I’m so glad we did because everything about this restaurant deserves more than 5 stars. The service is impeccable, we received an appetizer on the house, food was totally amazing and the spices used 💯, the decor is beautiful and the ambiance 💯. Plus they have a carry out side as well with the same great food and delicious fresh pressed juices that are made every 2 days. Just know we are customers for life. Please keep up the great work! ❤️❤️❤️🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽Oh, might I add, they have the best brown rice that I have ever tasted! 💯💯💯

Wow! It has been a long time since I was this impressed by a restaurant. The food was perfectly cooked and flavorful. Even the couscous, a normally bland side, was very well prepared and tasty. My wife and I both had lamb dishes. They were different cuts and flavor profiles but both great. Some other comments had mentioned that some of the menu items were out of stock when they visited. We did experience the same thing but some of the ingredients are difficult to source. If an owner/chef only wants authentic ingredients that are fresh and in season to make the best dishes then I can give him a pass on something being out of stock.Given my own experience and what I saw other patrons eating, if you can't get your first choice then your second choice is probably going to still be pretty awesome. Finally, great service. Just the right mix of formal and friendly.

After driving by this place for over a year, we finally made it in. Wow, this place is awesome! Great music, super friendly staff and the food is scrumptious. Won't be a year before we're back. Highly recommend.

The food is amazing and huge portions. Worth the money. Also you don't have to worry about unruly customers when you dine. Will definitely come back again. I loved the Grilled Dibi Lamb.

The food is really good, the music is refreshing and the drinks are authentically natural. Our favorite African spot and we love our brown rice and lamb.

Ive had my eye on this place for years and finally stopped in this weekend. Ive never had Senegalese food before and was excited to try. The decor is beautiful, the bathrooms were very clean and nice, the music was fun. The prices were fair considering the flavor and size.I actually had lots of leftovers so I really got two meals out of my trip. I got the mango drink, medium spice salmon, white rice, plantains, and the egg roll appetizer. Everything tasted amazing!! The spice on the salmon was super flavorful and smokey. The two sauces/salsas that came with the meal were very tasty. They also gave us two complimentary tuna pastry appetizers that were sooo yummy. The staff made sure to check on us often to make sure we liked the food. I cant wait to go back and try more options!

Restaurant has nice ambiance for a group dinner or date night. I kind of felt that the menu was limited though. On a Saturday evening around 6:30p/7p the place was virtually empty. They were out of snapper, beef, & lamb.....We sat ourselves. The food was straight. Presentation was good. I ordered brown rice & chicken skewers($19). Expect that $19 is the baseline for items except the $5 sides. Unfortunately, because of the menu there's nothing that is gonna make me 'dying to go back'. Glad I went though so I can check it off the list. There must be a club or other bars nearby or next door because for some reason people chose to park IN FRONT of other cars including mine & block cars. Like who does that? The only time anyone should do that is if you came with the person you're blocking in. Having that headache when I was trying to leave took off a star. Maybe the owner should have designated spaces for his patrons.

The food is AMAZING! I ordered the whole snapper, it was huge and delicious. Presentation was great also!

The wife and I had been wondering about this place since it wasn't far from our home. On our way back from shopping we decided to check out the menu on the carryout side and then decided we'd dine in. The place is lovely, the music, the decor, the owner and the service was on point. The portion was bigger then I expected. My entree was definitely a share entree but very satisfying. The flavors were distinctive and delicious. The atmosphere was quaint and it gave you the sense that you were somewhere else. The bathroom has to be one of the best bathrooms I've been in... My wife took selfies, so I had to check it out. Everything was great and the to-go bag was even on point. COME THROUGH. !!! YOU'LL LOVE IT
