My Thai Vegan Cafe

The place is in the 2nd floor of a 'old' building: at the entrance, the appearance is not very convincing. However, once you go up, inside of the restaurant the atmosphere is quite nice. From my point of view, it should be cleaner and more organized in order to make the place more aesthetically pleasurable. The food was delicious, I had a meal of the day: soup, spring roll and I chose a Pad Thai. It was super yummy! Price was great: all for 9.95$. The bathroom was cleaned but, still, I think the space should be better in terms of organization. Service was very good: very nice people.

Before coming to My Thai Vegan Cafe, all the vegan spots I had been to were just slightly overdone and mildly overpriced. This restaurant goes in the opposite direction, and takes a lower cost, no frills approach to vegan cuisine; the appearance of the restaurant to the presentation of the food both reflect this. Food itself was decent- my vegan shrimp actually did come pretty close to tasting like the real deal.

All vegan Thai Cafe since most others use fish or oyster sauce even in vegetarian dishes. Owners were friendly as fast. I highly suggest the birds nest special and it is probably good for two people with an appetizer. The food isn't too spicy so I asked for chili oil on the side. Great place for those vary of fish/oyster sauce in typical Thai food.
