My Father's Pizza

The food and atmosphere were pretty good, definitely seemed to be geared toward families and larger groups. Had the pizza (as one might expect) but they did have several other options that looked good. The vibe was nice and service was excellent, would have loved to see the bar in the upstairs waiting area up and running. Could have just been the timing as we were there on a Sunday night. Overall I'd recommend because of the awesome service, but four star because the food was good but not great.

I always arrive buying some food in this place. I enjoy the prompt service and well cooked dishes. Never disappointing.

This was first time eating here and omggggg great pizza I had the white pie and fell in love and also had a Greek salad. They were both delicious next time it's going be pasta baby.

Such a beautiful combination of ambiance and simple expression. Delicious food. Great service and just all and all a wonderful mountain side experience.

I've had both the steak sandwich and individual pizza several times. Both are excellent, so much so, that I drive an hour just to have lunch there.Highly recommend, at least those two dishes.

My family and I have eaten for three years straight when we visit Black Mountain. The service is great and the food (pizza, salads, desserts) is always delicious!

I absolutely LOVE My Father's! It's my go to lunch stop whenever I'm in Black Mountain and the food never disappoints. There is a but of a wait when they are busy, but it's worth it. You have the choice of indoor and outdoor seating and they offer a few local beers and cider. Overall, I love the welcoming atmosphere and the staff is always kind and attentive.

Food prepared quickly. Food was tasty! Waitress Ellen was super nice! Indoor and outdoor seating. Would have been 5 starts IF they had an Alfredo sauce option.

Neslted in heart of the Black Mountain shopping area, this great little pizza pakor did not disappoint!! Family fun and friendly place for great pizza, subs, and salads. I had the homemade meatball sub - FANTASTIC - and the party I was with had one gluten free and one vegan pizza. Both were very good. If you like trading pie, you will be more than happy with the option here!

The regular pizza was pretty decent. If you happen to be looking for a good gluten free crust. This is not the place. Although edible it was pretty much the standard frozen crust most places serve and it was not cooked well. These types of gluten free crusts typically need to be cooked a little before any toppings are added, or they end up soggy in the middle which is what happened. The atmosphere inside was kind of strange but nice. The outside patio looked like a nice place to relax and eat but unfortunately it was full when we were there and we did not want to wait. The staff was pretty friendly but also pretty slow. The food was a bit slow.

Great to eat a late lunch there for my sons 38th Birthday! The waitress was AWESOME and the pizza was(as always for years) THE BEST I've had in a long time! Fresh, tasty and loaded! I love the crust they make! Thank you all for the care you've taken at this time!!!
