Good food and friendly staff!!

Nice ambiance, kind of pricey, and a little slow on food prep. The server kept us occupied with miso soup and beverage refills, however.

So happy to find this place! Finally got some sea urchin which is so difficult to find. The sashimi was so fresh and enjoyed every single bite. I highly recommend Musasi Japanese Restaurant!

I went during the Valentine's Day special. I will admit, the food is phenomenal, especially with the deal we had the let's you choose an appetizer, salad, and entree. The problems I came across is the fact that it has a cramped space, service was on the slower end (maybe due to the amount of guests. It was lively this day), and reservations are not guaranteed regardless of prior phone calls. I do recommend coming for lunch, esp dinner when it isn't packed. The prices are fair for the serving size and service was kind even though it was low staffed. I do wish the area is larger. A notable mention is that they serve sushi and have a bar!

One of the best Japanese restaurant in town, the dishes are so great and tasty while the place do showcase the culture of Japan plus the crew were nice and friendly.

If you love Japanese Food, This Is The Place! The prices are reasonable. Excellent Sushi, Sashimi and Delicious Hot Oriental Dinner options. It's small, decorated nicely, delightfully quaint and has been there for decades. By far the best fine dining in Downtown Hampton on Queen Street. If you are going out on a quiet date with someone special, this is the place. The greet you when you come in the door and it's not noisy either. Very Very Friendly Attentive Staff. After a while they even remember your name when you come in the door. The other places on that street are basically burger, pizza and beer joints. Definite a favorite!

If you're looking for much BETTER than Asian fusion, this is a great place! In the direction of classical Japanese style.

A great local restaurant in downtown Hampton! Visited for the first time this past Saturday night with a small group of friends. The service was top notch, all the staff was super friendly. Cozy atmosphere. Prices were a bit higher than I expected, but the food was great and overall experience was well worth it. We'll be back again! This would be a great date night location.

My favorite place for Japanese on the Peninsula. Discovered this hidden gem years ago and have been returning since. Love the cozy atmosphere and the location is great for an after-dinner walk through downtown Hampton. Probably my favorite Miso soup ever.
