There are also fresh baguettes that they will cut for you if you would like. In addition they offer a great selection of classes every day like Cheese 101 or drink and cheese pairing classes. You will not go home hungry.

One the best cheese shops in NYC. Great selection, super-knowledgable staff, and a great café too. Cheese from all over the world, but also many superb locavore options. Nice cheese accessories and accompanyments.

Very disappointed with the catering food...for the second year in a row. Every year we have a family gathering. Last year we ordered a spinach lasagna. It was a drippy tasteless mess. This year we decided to give Murray's a second chance and ordered the mac & cheese. I've had it for lunch and liked that it was rich, creamy and tasty. The first issue with the mac and cheese tray was it was delivered cold and warming directions weren't provided. I called them and was told to warm it up in a 350 degree oven for 15 minutes. I don't cook but even I know that was wrong. The mac and cheese turned out to be dry, not good and the topping was much too spicy. There were 14 guests and it was mostly untouched. It was thrown away. Also tossed was any desire to return to Murray's.

Excellent cheeses and knowledge staff. We wanted something like a manchego, but different, and they knew just the cheese. They also had great pairing suggestions which were completely unexpected but truly excellent. Highly recommended. Oh also great croissants, so so good.

Great collection of cheeses in one place. Heard a lot about their grilled cheese sandwiches, so tried it. It was better than most, but i felt it lacked a bit of saltiness. But that's just my personal preference.

Murray's always delivers the goods! No matter what your Cheese preference Murray's has an option for you! The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly! They also allow you to sample any of the cheeses before you purchase them!

During the lockdown in New York, we ordered 10 items. Delivery was delayed of two additional days than originally planned but it finally arrived. Alas, the package contained only 5 items, even though they had charged us for all the 10 items. I had even chosen the option for them to choose replacements in case they didn’t have all the things I had ordered. Not to mention those items which are missing from our order are still described as available on Murray’s website as of now. Impossible to talk to their customer service, they only communicate by email. And the email I received after several hours was a vague apology and the promise of a refund (how much? The email didn’t say) as they are unwilling to send the 5 missing items from the original order. Too bad we cannot eat refund money, can we? If only they had had the decency of letting us know in advance. Shame on Murray’s. We will remember for the future

Great and well known local market. Healthy local produce, many cheeses and imported quality products. Great for quick shopping visit great for locals. Highly recommend it!

Best cheese store in Manhattan - try the Montgomery cheddar and get some of the Ciabatta from Sullivan Street Bakery - as there is also a great bread selection - cheese samples are free - this is the "Go-to " place on holidays like Thanksgiving but be warned it gets crowded and you have to take a ticket and wait for your number to be called . Highly recommended .

I can here with a group of old girl friends. We had an amazing time chatting, drinking wine, and eating cheese. We got the 8 piece cheese/meats board, an order of Mac and cheese, & 2 bottles of wine. This was the perfect amount for the 4 of us over a coupe hours. The servers were kind and laid back. The atmosphere is cozy (if your in a booth past the bar — we were).

Spring for the burrata. It’s a really heavy meal so might be best to get a smaller size than you think you want!

The store is a great place with a vast selection of cheese's , and there is excellent bread to be had as well. Very expensive but many good options.Great high quality products, they have only the best at Murray's. Grab a sandwich that they make there, during the day, including breakfast. Fantastic, like everything from Murray’s.Good Cheese's and croissants. Great place good flavors. Highly recommend this Place in Manhattan.
