Staff was very friendly upon placing my order but when I went to pick the cake up it wasn’t done. The pick up time was 2pm, I didn’t receive my cake until 2:58pm and my cake was completely wrong. I expressed my concerns to a baker and he sympathized but when I spoke with Ms Polly she made it seem like it normal for these things. I requested a refund and she advised me the only thing she could do was give me a complementary dessert. I was late to my own sons birthday party and was totally dissatisfied with the cake, she didn’t seem to care.

I recently had a wedding cake done from here and it was the only thing out of my whole wedding that was so horrible, terrible that words can't describe. I would not recommend this place to a dog. If I could post the pictures of the wedding cake I certainly would because it was so bad that they put Styrofoam to make bridges and was so cheap to bother buying cake stands for the satellite cake's. They actually embarrassed me and my husband at the reception with this tacky cake. I would not even give them a star to rate how badly this was. Further more the service there was ridiculous and unprofessional when the guy with dreds kept going outside in the back of the place leaving us in the front, customers walk in wait and wait and leave because he took to long. I'm giving my honest opinion. You will be disappointed. Do go here unless you just want to eat the cake

I tried their cheese cake at the downtown location on Broughton st. It was perfect. Not too sweet but just right; and rich like a cheese cake should be. Staff is very friendly and personable. :)

Bought a couple slices at Tanger outlet they were dried out. Though we were going to a home town bakery. We found a franchised refrigerator case. A real let down after our quest first visiting the original location funding it closed, going to a second location to find it closed finally tracking down what i assume is the newest location.

I remember as a kid my family brought cake from Ms. Polly for every occasion. Everybody will be bragging about how her cakes were amazing and would be begging to lick the bottom of the box. Nowadays it doesn't taste the same at all. I have the slightest idea about what changed. It doesn't just melts in your mouth. Nor is it nice and moist like it use to be.

Best cupcakes and I love Ms. Polly and her staff. The atmosphere there is very customer friendly and service always with a smile.
