Mr V's Pizza

Just Moved into the area, figured we would try this place out since we were still unpacking and didnt want to cook. Well...Were we in for a surprise. This little gem of a place made thin crust pizza that tasted amazing. Growing up in Chicago you have your certain " Go to" local Pizza joints. This place is def now my go to local place now. Anyone who is in the area or even just passing through, do yourself a favor and get yourself a pizza. You ll be in heaven. Side Note: The order came literally in 20 mins after I called it in. Pizza hut/Dominoes, eat your heart out.

Thick pizza was pretty good. Restaurant is slightly old and outdated but it's not a bad place by any means. Just get carry out and you'll be a happy camper.

They have good food, but a slice can get pretty expensive. $3 for one slice isn't really attractive. For $2 more I could just get a pizza from little Caesars. But tbh this place is nice and cozy and nice for small groups.

I ordered a 16inch pizza, mozzarella sticks, and onion rings. Everything was good except the pizza. It was completely burnt. Very disappointing considering I've ordered from here before and this never has happened. That's why I'm giving 3 stars instead of 1. Not sure why the cook would have thought it was a good idea to pack that burnt pizza...

Tasty pizza by the slice and good delivery too. The employees here are also friendly.

We had some of the pre-made pizza in the case, and THAT was amazing. Their fresh pizzas must be phenomenal. We are totally going back! Also, the staff is super chill and nice. Really like that it's so close to the park and has ice cream.

Sausage pizza and mr.Vs especial is the best pizza they also have some other great things in their menu like chicken tenders bbq chicken grilled chicken sandwich hot dog.

Their thin crust sausage is unbeatable. Their pepperoni is a close contender for world's best. Family size feeds 4-5 normal appetite people.

Always love going to Mr. V's!! Great neighborhood place with friendly staff. I'm currently obsessed with the burger of the month--the Tarcheezy! Can't wait to see what next months burger is! Fun to eat in and look around, they have lots on the walls and a cool menu. Definitely recommend stopping in and checking it out of you haven't.

Restaurant was clean, staff was friendly and prompt. I would have appreciated more options for the toppings on the slices they had ready to order, but the slice I had was good. Overall, it was a decent meal for the price.
