Fast seating. Great deal for the price roughly $20/per person all you can eat but doesn't include the desserts not drinks. Better selection than the other all you can eat restaurant in Matthews that starts with a 'U'.

Best Mother's day dinner with me, myself, and I. I am a mom with a diet rich in carbs a.k.a leftover snacks and eating each bite of these handcrafted sushi rolls give me a big smile every time, and the presentation is so enjoyable (temporarily, until it's gone but still) I do have couples rolls that are my favorite.Eating those delicacies is the best but it can hurt if, like me, you want to clear your plate after the 8th sushi roll and still looking at the menu for one more appetizer. Don't be like me. just come back another day! (soon)

I visited Mr. Tokyo for the first time recently...and I really enjoyed my experience. I love the concept! It’s like an all you can eat...but NOT a buffet! Food is Great! A lot of choices, and comes out quickly. Be forewarned, any food left over costs extra for you to take with you. So just order a little at a time to try different things. I loved all the sushi dishes I tried, but I didn’t care much for the vegetable tempura, the veggies were too big and there was too much breading. Also, the waitress could have been a little friendlier. It’s a little pricey with dinner priced at about $20 per person, so go hungry to try and get your money’s worth.

Amazing food at a great price. All you can eat Hibachi and Sushi for $20. They’ll bring you meat and veg only on the Hibachi if you like. They use the big shrimp, not tiny ones. Steak and all the hibachi meats are flavored and cooked perfectly. Expect a bit of a wait, but all the food is being cooked fresh to order.... if you want it quick, hit a buffet! If you want quality, come here with a little patience. Kids under 3 eat free. We will be back!

Great place to enjoy Japanese food. You need to finish all food you ordered. You are not allowed to take home leftover food, but they will charge you $ for wasting food.

All you can eat sushi! Good food, service, and atmosphere. Easy to order and server was nice. I asked about dessert and our waitress brought out 2 desserts thinking I ordered. We were confused but kept them as their deserts aren't expensive and they looked good (fried cheese cake and fried icecream). She saw our confusion and didn't charge us for them in the end. Great dinner experience and would go back.

All you can eat is their claim to fame. The sushi is decent but not world shaking. Service is efficient but essentially mechanical. Freshness is okay. Being raised in Hawaii, and living in California for many years, we have high expectations when we visit a sushi restaurant.

One of the few places i can get saba (mackerel) sushi. Unfortunately its only on the dinner/weekend menu. Many of the menu items are somewhat cursory (think salads at McDonald's), but the sushi is quite good.

Every Mr. Tokyo I've been to in the Charlotte area has been incredible! Their sushi is high quality and the service is exceptional. Highly recommend for any sushi lover. They have more than just sushi too.

LOVE this place. Come here at least once a month. Good price for all-you-can-eat with so many sushi and appetizer variety. Definitely worth the money and the wait (on the weekends). All the staffs I had were friendly.

Excellent food $20/All You Can Eat. The sushi is fresh and it doesn’t sit under a lamp waiting to be ate. For $20/per At least the desserts should come with it instead you have to pay separate. Same with the drinks. But overall Mr.Toyko is a excellent buffet

Sushi is my favorite of foods and I like to try all the new places I can. Mr.Tokyo is a little pricier than other sushi buffet establishments but they make up for this by having high quality food that I usually only see in higher scale restraunts. I have never had a bad service experience and even my pickier vegan mother was able to find a variety of dishes she enjoyed. This is the best sushi value I have found and would highly recommend.

Started with the crab salad, very good. Dumpings and friend spring rolls are good too! Sushi was really delicious, fresh and served quickly. Service was ok. The only issue is the dessert isn't included and they didn't tell you that when you order. $19.99 for the dinner is high, but kind of worth it! Great place!

From beginning to end it was GREAT!! Service was excellent, food came fast and the taste was great!! Really fresh!! I don’t normally give 5 stars but they deserve it!!! Will definitely recommend this place!!
