Pretty busy on a Saturday around 11:00. My vanilla latte was perfect. We ordered egg, cheese and sausage bagel sandwiches. They weren't very hot (just ok).

Mr. Smith’s coffee house is a must do when you are in the Sandusky area, locals or visitors to the area will not be disappointed. They offer everything from the normal cup of black joe to all the fru fru drinks that taste like real deserts. They have a very comfortable, welcoming vibe to all who enter. They offer pastries and other small items to eat with your beverage of choice. The staff are always wonderful and helpful in any way. The seating area, bathrooms and meeting areas are always spotless. The little free library inside is just an added bonus to the eclectic display of art from area artists (which are always for sale). If you are in the area we highly recommend stopping in and checking it out, you will love it.

Great coffee, breakfast sandwiches, etc. Downtown Sandusky.

What a pleasant find in downtown. My espresso was near perfect and I chose a Cranberry scone for breakfast. The ladies easily accommodated my strange request for skim milk over ice to go with my espresso shots. Comfy spot and the decor full of art created by local artists, all for purchase! It became clear I missed out on a great breakfast. All the folks around me enjoyed hot breakfast sandwiches with their coffee. I would have gladly paid 20% more for the great coffee and breakfast I enjoyed.

Good coffee at a more reasonable price than other shops in the downtown area. Some people would call the atmosphere cozy and vintage, others would call it dingy and dark. The bathroom fixtures are so old and worn they look pretty grimey. This goes for the floor coverings too. But I heard they were going to remodel in the near future. I noticed the staff is a little impatient with first-time customers that don't know the ordering procedure. They do offer breakfast and lunch sandwiches, muffins, cookies, bagels, and oatmeal. They also have a large selection of coffee beans for purchase. ⛾🙄

Always fast, friendly, and convenient. Food is fresh, and drinks made to cater to fun and fresh taste. Soups are delicious, and variety of sandwiches can come also as a wrap or salad. One of my best choices to patronize downtown. True coffeehouse atmosphere for art, reading, or meeting with friends.
