This is exactly the neighborhood bar you want it to be! Laid back, diverse and gay friendly community, simple drinks and food for a reasonable price. The daily events - jazz, bluegrass, boardgames - make this place one of a kind. REALLY, the Wednesday jazz jam is a DC bucket list must-see, if not a weekly hang.

The Jazz event was popping, the waitress was on point, and the food was delicious and on time. I do recommend going to Mr. Henry's Restaurant one more time....

I love the patio with the Happy Hour. The Long Island is strong the way I like it. The Buffalo wings are juicy and spicy. Great service by my waitress Miranda. She was fast and efficient. She checked on me frequently. The Shrimp Flatbread from the upstairs Jazz Menu is amazing. It is a flavor bursting Argula Salad with pesto sauce, tomato and Shrimp. Very nice portion size.

Great spot for lunch. Service was fantastic. Food came out correct and fairly quick. Would definitely stop again if I am around them.

Sounds of Harmony Band really rocked the joint with their oldsongs from back in the day. Nothing's like live music!!!

I really like going to Mr. Henry's for date night. My boyfriend used to play jazz, so we love to go and listen to the music. The food is not great, so I suggest eating before you go and spend the $$ minimum on cocktails.

To go: chicken wings & fries yummy. Luv that they got rid of plastic straws in a effort to save our animals in the sea. ðŸ ðŸ‹ðŸŸ Thank you Mr. Henry's!

Had a great time listening to Julia and her son Nicolas. It was great to see David too. Always a good time to be had at Mr. Henry's!

A great, low-key restaurant and bar with a heritage of jazz, blues, and roots music spanning decades. Good times, good vibes, and deep roots in the neighborhood and the city.

My husband and I came up to DC to visit family for the Valentine's weekend. We chose this place because of the jazz but feel in love with the onion rings. Another couple was complaining about the red skin mashed potatoes but evidently they've never had good food because they were good to my husband and I. We absolutely loved this place and the music was awesome.

I always have a wonderful time here. It's a neighbourhood place where an out-of-towner can feel like he belongs. Caring staff and personable regulars. The world would be a better place with more bars like this.
