Great place with lots of choices. Most dishes are very good, a few of them a bit bland. Service is OK. The grilled whole lamb is a fantastic treat, a bit expensive but totally worth it.

Expected to get what I ordered. If you order lamb, you expect to get it. Same with so called beef tenderloin, which was just gristle. To add insult to injury charged us a gratuity because they probably knew they weren't getting a tip. NEVER Again.

Even though its called a skewer house the skewers were just okay I’ve had better, but their main dishes were super good. Service was good but super slow. It took them over 40 minutes to give us 3 dishes and it wasnt even that packed in the restaurant. Plus the hygenie is questionable. I found lipstick marks on my glass showing they don’t wash their dishes properly. These two things made them lose two stars.

We went there for a birthday dinner. Nice and clean place. Friendly staff. Food arrived quickly. Everything tasted delicious. Some dishes were too salty. Soups were very good, especially the sweet and sour soup. Fish was very good. Eggplant dishes were delicious. Over good experience.

Blink and you might miss this place. They offer a wide range of northern Chinese dishes. The restaurant have a homey feel to it, lots of space, not at all crowded even at peak time. I read some of the reviews below and decided to give their skewers a try. I also ordered some mapo tofu. The portion is pretty good. The taste, however, were unfortunately mediocre. I think I barely ate 1/3 of the mapo tofu. They're not bad, but I've eaten better at many places. If I were to return, I wouldn't be ordering these again.

Out of my expectation. Surprisingly good spot for North East cuisine of China.

Food portion is very generous! Taste like home made! Love and would bring family back!

The worst experience ever, the bill automatically charged me 10% tips and didn’t let me know. Ridiculous 3.5 % commissions if paid by credit, dirty dishes and utensils, definitely will never go back.

Customer service could be a bit better.

Tasty food , a bit pricey. The egg fried rice was a bit bland and so were the garlic cooked bok choy. The best was the spicy clams and getting a side of the fresh cooked steamed bun was perfect for dipping in the extra sauce. Will come again.

I really like their skewers! Food comes out quick and good service too. The food is pretty tasty, and the servings are decently sized. we got the lamb skewers(they come in pairs, so kinda expensive) egg fried rice, stir fry veggies (came with rice we didn’t know), dumplings, and a beef noodle dish. So much food!!

WHAT TO TRY?!Their lamb skewers are good! Not that gamey tasting and the seasoning is just right. We came for their soft opening and it's still really new restaurant because they didn't have a lot of the items on the menu. They came from Hamilton where they had a restaurant there as well. The food we ordered tasted good and the service was excellent. I especially liked the sweet and sour honey spare ribs and the garlic veggies. Portion sizes of the clay pots can be big so it's enough to share with two people at least. Don't be alarmed with the decor though. I think they didn't renovate much after the takeover from the previous restaurant (used to be a middle eastern restaurant) so a lot of the look and feel is very similar to the restaurant previously. LAST TIP?!Order the soup noodle dishes in a clay pot if you want a good meal for a good price. For $9.99, the portion size looks decent to either eat alone if you're hungry or share with someone else!

Fantastic authentic northern Chinese food! Come for the skewers, stay for the pork belly! Pork jello is a highlight.
