Motown Coffee & Grill

I went there for a coffee as I have heard really good reviews. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the coffee. I asked for extra hot and it was only luke warm. Not happy with the service. Will be giving a lot of thought to go for a second time.

We go here for lunch whenever we are in Sydney. The food and drinks are very good. Today, it proved a problem paying afterwards as the waitress who was serving us was more interested in chatting up the barista than taking money from me. Some attention to customer service is required.

Great service, wouldn’t go anywhere else for my morning coffee. Can get quite busy but is totally worth the wait.

Great menu choices and delicious coffee! An accidental find on my way through the city and I will definitely be back!

Perfect coffee drinks and lovely seating outside. Tables fill up fast so be sure to grab one quickly. Service was quick and prices were what you’d expect.

Came here on a weekday late afternoon for coffee. It wasn't very crowded and the place was clean and quiet. Good time and space to chill and relax. Coffee was quite good and the staff were friendly. 4 out of 5 stars will be a reasonable rating.

We were drawn to this place on Australia day as we could smell the delicious coffee walking down the street!Its conveniently located, offers excellent coffee, great atmosphere with in - and outdoor seating.It also has a wide range of tasty dishes at a reasonable price as well as lots of delicious little treats that are presented nicely. It has become my go to place when ever i am in the city.

The service seemed unnecessarily slow, but I really enjoyed the chilli prawn pasta (prawns were not overcooked) and the coffee is good. Fresh flowers at each table was a lovely touch. On the day, there was construction nearby, nothing to faze a city rat. Come on a weekend, and it is easy enough to pick a nice table.

Absolutely incredible breakfast and coffee. While on this trip we had coffee all over Melbourne but none of it was as good as our cappuccinos this morning. We all ordered a second coffee because it was just that good. Breakfast (“non bread lovers”, “açaí bowl” and “brekkie plate”) was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. My dad is gluten free and they even had GF sourdough bread- he was thrilled. My husband had the breakfast burger and that was probably the only thing that wasn’t noteworthy so he’s going to skip that when we come back tomorrow.

Lovely, local coffee shop. Offer healthy food options and tasty desserts. Prices are fair and service is friendly and attentive.
