Motorworks Brewing, Bradenton’s first craft brewery, was co-founded by Frank and Denise Tschida. As soon as they laid their eyes on the Bradenton property, they knew they had found something special. Built in 1923 as an automobile dealership—complete with a concrete ramp that was used to move cars from the ground floor to a second floor service area—the 27,000 sq. ft. building houses Motorworks’ full-production Brewery and Taproom, adjacent to a 22,000 sq. ft. Beer Garden: Florida's largest. Formerly home to a Hudson Motors dealership—renowned for outstanding performance and innovative styling—in the late 40s and early 50s, the building’s automotive history along with Frank’s Sprint Car/ASA background inspired the Motorworks Brewing name and hood ornament logo. The Motorworks Brewing team strives to bring our own imaginative and innovative approach to brewing to honor our building’s storied past.

This place is awesome. Great selection of beer, and we loved all of them. Staff was friendly, free popcorn is nice. The beer garden has this beautiful tree, send lots of space for games.

very nice bar/taproom with pretty good selection of homemade craft beer and also selection of cigars/whisky/ wine and cocktails. unfortunately, only 3 stars in this review due to a bunch of amateur working as bartenders there: we dealt with 3 kids who had no idea about how to serve a beer, zero attention to details and absolutely no clue about how you should work in a brewery! The kid who served us didn’t say even “hi†he just asked me if I wanted change after I paid for the beers! The other two young ladies were busy one trying to pour one beer from a draft, pretty much unsuccessfully, and the other one watching! they were lucky that the venue was practically empty, as these kids surely couldn’t handle a busy bar! I really hope they have professional staff during the week ends! A real shame as the beers we had were pretty good!

Beers were really not that good. I was really surprised by this. I had a flight of 4 and only liked 1 of them. I sampled a couple others that were in my party and didn't care for theirs either. 2 out of 6 beers I liked if I'm being honest. The atmosphere of the courtyard was awesome though. Pretzels and beer cheese was good too. The server was pretty attentive considering our whole party did flights (annoying I'm sure). - Avid craft beer drinker
