Finally found a cafe that has good options for those of us that have never been converted to coffee. Chai, matcha and pictured below (sinful Mexican hot chocolate). It's located above the Southbound restaurant and has ample seating. They even make their own breads. Thank goodness I don't live super close or my waistline might not last. 😆

Fantastic neighborhood coffee shop with pastries and breakfast burritos and a damn fine cup of coffee. There’s often a pop-up of some sort there, too which adds to the food choices. With Saturday morning cartoons on the big screen (Saturday mornings are the best) and plenty of seating, Moonbird is worth a couple hours of your day! Pictured is my breakfast from today.

I LOVE this cute coffee shop! What a great atmosphere to work or have a coffee date in. The coffee is absolutely delicious too! And the baristas are so friendly. Thanks for giving Chamblee such a gem, moon bird <3

Surprised the coffee shop was very spacious. On the second floor on top of restaurant Southbound. It was a nice quite place people can work on their laptops. Even though downstairs was very busy and loud, but upstairs was like another world - cozy and peaceful. Very nice.

First time here. I’m in love. My new favorite coffee shop. Hummingbird bread is divine. The atmosphere is so laid-back and the baristas are just super awesome and friendly. Only suggestion i have is to add power outlets for laptops. Overall: Love it, love it, love it!!!

Love this coffee shop. They have such a comfy vibe as soon as you enter. Moon bird is on the top of a bar. They have a balcony and a big enough room to fit a decent size squad. The owner is super friendly and offers her own recommendation along the way.

This is an awesome little spot. Quiet place to relax, work or share some coffee with a friend or two.

What a fabulous little coffee place. Friendly and welcoming, both the baristas and the atmosphere. The Mexican mocha latte was perfection, the balance of spicy heat, the slight sweetness and bitterness of the chocolate, a perfect pull of espresso, and the creaminess of the steamed milk. If I lived locally, I would drink these daily! I also enjoyed a burrito which was delicious, well filled and not all wrapper, like so many are. The atmosphere is great too, eclectic and fun with exposed brick walls, open beamed ceilings and large windows. Well spaced tables with mix and match chairs allow for plenty of seating options. The room on a grey day was a bit dark but still bright enough to work. Awesome place, can’t wait to return!

I visited this coffee place for the first time this past weekend after wanting to try it out for a long time. It’s so adorable. Every little thing from the exposed brick, the mismatched wooden chairs, to the train views... tied together so well to create a cozy and intimate setting. Perfect for the enjoyment of a smooth cup of coffee. They also offer a few pastry items. I tried the sweet potato pie and have to say it’s the best I’ve ever had! Please try it if you get the chance.

My new favorite coffee shop in Atlanta! I'm an engineering graduate student, so I consume a LOT of caffeine on the daily and the coffee here is excellent. I also really appreciate the beautiful, calm space. I wish they were open later, but it's worth going out of my way to make it here before 2:30 PM.

I had a delicious chai latte and really great coffeecake! If you love funky 80s music, you'll enjoy the music playing here. The exposed brick and beams, mismatching chairs and couches, and beautiful lighting streaming in from the windows make this an awesome place to work remotely.
