Monks Cheesesteaks & Cheeseburgers

Nice employees and great service.

My husband and I visited Gboro & we ate @ Monk's both of the days we were in town. The restaurant has a very welcoming atmosphere, partly because of the friendly male waiter. I love that the food is served hot & fresh. I also really enjoyed how soft their sub bread is.

First time there. Fries supper hot. Cheese steak sub super hot. Had to wait a while before eating to cool down. Prefer tea 1/2 and 1/2. A little too sweet for my taste; however, real lemon wedges on site helped. No unsweet tea after lunch crowd leaves. Will need to go earlier to beat the crowd. Staff very attentive. Priced reasonable. Only complaint couldn't close door completely to female restroom; although, it was neat and clean.

The sub was DELICIOUS and the wings were really good too. The waitress I had was super nice even to my daughter. Only thing I dont like is how the sub itself is $8 without a side. I will be going back though because it's worth it.

Excellent customer service, greeted as soon as I walked in and my order was promptly taken. The bathrooms are extremely clean. The entire lobby is clean and very retro, nostalgic 80s look.

Cheeseburgers were tremendous. The regular one with mustard, chilli, slaw, and onions. And one with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions. As well as the all beef hot dog all the way. Will definitely return to try the wings and the cheese steaks

Awesome food and atmosphere

I have been there several times and haven't had a bad sandwich yet. The New York Cheesesteak both beef and chicken are great. The people that work there are very friendly!

Love love love Monks- the family that runs it is super amazing always so friendly and attentive the food is AMAZING- by far my favorite cheesesteak! The food is always piping hot and delicious ❤️

Visited this establishment today and I really enjoyed the food! It was hot, fresh and they give huge portions. You can tell that they really care about making the customer happy. The owner was nice, the place was clean and they had some good music playing. Will definitely go back soon!

Met the owner Tito today just a few minutes ago actually.. Me and my boyfriend love, love, loved our New York Cheese steak sub. One of the best cheese steak subs in Greensboro/Triad area. The atmosphere was amazing, and clean and the friendly service was A1. He makes you feel right at home as if you just stopped by for one of your uncles famous subs. 😂 They say a first impression is a lasting one. And we're sold. Whenever we get a craving for cheese steak Monk's will be our only stop. You gotta check it out for yourself! Thanks Mr. Tito

Stumble upon this hidden gem not from this area didn't see it on Google map. We ordered the new York philly cheese steak and fries. The food come piping hot. You could tell everything was prepared with love. And very fresh. I really think this is the best philly cheesesteak I ever had. And I loved the fresh squeezed lemonade very yummy. Hot wings are delicious a must try. Went back again tried the cheesebuger,with chili and onions it was very good. You just can't go wrong eating here. If you haven't tried it your missing out.
