Superb establishment with amazing gold and silver medal Belgian beers! The owners are so sweet and make you feel right at home when visiting the tasting room! A Bend favorite for sure!

Pretty stoked on this place. I've been a fan of their beer for a long time, and it's taken me a while to make it to their tap room, and I'm kicking myself for not going sooner. You can (obviously) choose between their beer on tap, but also flights are cheap and worth it. 8 tasters for $16 or just a 4 oz. taster for $2. A lot of other places don't offer this option and to me makes it worth it. The tap room is on the smaller side and Friday nights can get full. Also, the food truck outside is ONLY open on Friday and Saturday nights, but do yourself a favor and try the pretzels. They are the consistency of a turtle she'll on the outside, with the softness of a rabbit on the inside. Delectable. So definitely grab food before if you're wanting something to soak up the alcoholic goodness.

Great beer, delicious food (steak frites!) and stellar service. Moderately+ priced food but it is fresh and tasty! Thank you for bringing a new experience to Bend. We will be back many times.

Visited the brewery on our trip to Bend last spring. Small but nice, clean, good tap selection, lots of canned beer available. Bartender (red headed man?) was very pleasant, offered plenty of samples, chatted up a storm. We had an in depth talk about beer and he gave me a tour of the brewhouse and answered a bunch of questions. No food, but they had a food truck and you can bring your own. Very good experience. We will go back next time we are in town.Note: I do NOT give 5 stars lightly. The majority of breweries I have been to have 5 stars, even with infected beer, dirty facilities, and slow service. It is quite obvious most people just want alcohol and will give high ratings no matter how horrible the place is.I am different. Beer must be solid, true to style, good clean atmosphere, staff knows their product, and provide good service. This place met my expectations.

This place was a crazy find! So excited to have found it. The owners (husband and wife combo!) were running the place, pouring beers and running tables. Fantastically intimate. Their beer was fantastic as well! Their take on Belgian beer styles is very approachable and very delicious even if you've never enjoyed Belgian beers before. It's also just a bike-able distance to some other breweries in the area. The Cycling Cicerone approves of this place!

Monkless Ales, easily a 5 star location. I lived in Belgium for just short of 5 years. I have physically been searching the country for an ale that actually is a Belgian ale. I haven't had a great Saison or Dubbel in 8 years, and I greatly missed them. The flavors and thickness of the beer are perfectly on point. Everything from a blonde, a lager, saison, dubbel l, tripel, quad, and on. A slight twist on a few all with a soothing finish or a crisp clean freshness. The atmosphere is a spectacular environment. Quiet and quaint and pick your own flights. I promise, you will not be disappointed.

I love the new location! I thought the food prices were very high and the food was very mediocre. I had an "onion tart" that was more like a poor quality pizza. It cost $15.00. The fries were soft and unimpressive. We sat at a table that was difficult to get to and felt isolated from the rest of the pub. I appreciate all the hard work it takes to open a pub. I hope there are some improvements as things get going.

some of the best food I have had in Bend, which is saying something, unique flavor with tons of layers. Slightly high prices than other places in town but worth it! Beautiful view too if its warm enough to eat outside

Questions & Answers

We sure do!!

Not allowed inside any more, they recently changed their policy. Dogs are only allowed outside.

There are typically food trucks on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Yes

They last time I visited, there was no happy hour. Maybe in the future they will decide to make this a reality. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Hi Dave, we cannot legally ship any beer out of state. However, if you check out Tavour, they can hook you up with some Monkless action. Cheers!
