Do not miss this special restaurant! The atmosphere is quaint and cozy. It is tastefully decorated to match their prohibition theme. The Gatsby Room up the steps is a wonderful spot to share drinks and appetizers, with comfortable seats and beautiful artwork. Their patio is a perfect place to dine, especially during beautiful days and chilly nights. It is equipped with heat lamps and gas fire pits which ensure comfort and relaxation. Their "giggle water" cocktails are fresh and innovative, and the bartenders are charismatic. The staff are invested in customers having the best experience, with prompt and friendly service. The dishes here are incredibly flavorful and I am always surprised by the creative dishes on the menu. Whether it be for a quick drink or a special occasion, Moniker 86 Social Club is absolutely worth your patronage.

Great service and food

Y’all. If you don’t try this before you head up to Heaven, you’re missing out. This place is one of the true gems of Cedar Rapids. Service is amazing. The family that runs the show, AMAZING. Food is even better.

Great atmosphere, attentive service. Very interesting menu selections. Tasty crab stuffed mushrooms, smoked salmon & sides were VERY GOOD.

Disclaimer: normally I leave pretty good reviews. I ordered the “Cheese Crab Stuffed Mushrooms” and was super stoked. Sadly, as soon as I tasted it, I knew it was imitation crab meat and, when I asked which type of crab was used, the waitress was polite enough to use the actual name, imitation crab meat. She returned seconds later to correct herself, most likely at her manager’s insistence, that it is surimi. So I google ‘surimi’... Imitation crab meat.I asked to see the menu. The ingredient listed is surimi, not crab. They should use surimi instead of crab in the name then, right? Call it “Cheese Surimi Stuffed Mushrooms” at least. Still gold-coating but not an outright lie. On the other hand, they weren’t that expensive...The main dish wasn’t bad, a little too greasy, but I’d eat it again. The style of the place was cool as well.

Great service, bar tender made a special request drink. Had the chicken marsala. Very good!!! Will go back again. 😊

This place is ABSOLUTELY amazing. Went with a couple friends tonight & we all ordered something different & all tried each other's dishes. EVERY SINGLE ONE was DELICIOUS!!!! Will definitely be back!!!!

A great place to stop in for drinks with friends. An inviting ambiance mixed with great food and specialty drinks this place has already made a name in cedar rapids as a must go. I recommend the crab raggoons dip it was a unique execution on a classic appetizer, and it was very yummy.
