This is not one of the touristy places in the North End, which is a good thing. Our meal and server were absolutely wonderful!! The appetizers all were excellent and my Linguine Pomodoro with very fresh pasta and a wonderful sauce was just terrific.

Wonderful intimate setting. Great menu. It is hard to decide what to order. Everyone in our party was pleased with their choices

We're in the North End every Saturday for Italian school. Today was our first visit to Vinoteca di Monica. The homemade pastas were truly amazing. We went nextdoor after to buy fresh pasta to take home for another day!

Ate here on a Sunday around 3, was able to seat a table of 5 right away which was wonderful. We ordered the friend calamari for an appetizer, which was cooked excellently and came with both aiolo and marinara for dipping which was perfect. The main courses we're incredibly flavourful, and the seafoods that came in them were cooked perfectly. My only complaint would be that the main dishes are a little small, so plan on ordering an appetizer, or dinner will very unlikely fill you up. No desserts are available.

Absolutely delicious. Everything is super fresh, including the pasta and gnocchi. The tiramisu was unlike anything I've ever had - the mascarpone was out of this world.

We had a great lunch here today after our Harbor Cruise and Aquarium visit. Service was excellent from our server Matthew. They have a pretty extensive menu, especially on a Sunday as the Brunch menu is in play. We went with the dinner menu. Really enjoyed the House Antipasto Special. Our 3 dinners were all excellent. Cappellini con Gamberi , Pesce del Giorno ( today was an excellent Haddoc ) and Fettuccine con Cozze Arrabiata ( supposed to be spicy, but we should have said bring on the heat, we can handle heat ). Looking forward to a return trip in the future.

Decent option for hand made pasta dishes and Italian fare. Good option for those looking for a bit more space than your typical north end restaurant. They do not have a full bar but offer some light cocktails. We had two of their truffle entrees, spinach gnocchi, and sausage ragout. The sausage ragout was the best option as the gnocchi and truffle entrees were just okay.

Went for brunch. Food and service was great! Can't go wrong with the $4 Mimosa's or Bloody Mary's.

As always, 5*. Start to finish in the dining room. Make a reservation and be prepared for some great pasta.

What a tremendous place to have Sunday Brunch! Plan accordingly and make reservations. Eggs with Chicken Cutlet and the Hash Poutine were awesome!

Outstanding northern Italian food in the North End which is full of Italian restaurants. They make their own pasta which is always cooked and sauced to perfection. Very good service. They also have a nice wine bar, but don't miss the food.

Amazing delicious pasta. We had their mushroom ravioli and lingunie pomodoro. It was to die for. Also their espresso martini is amazing!

Questions & Answers

There are several gluten free options but almost nothing for vegans. The menu lists grilled mushrooms, bibb lettuce salad, and basic pasta with tomato and garlic. I agree that contacting them by phone well in advance, you'll get better options.
