Mondelli's Bake Shop

I purchased a chocolate cake with cream cheese icing and thumb print cookies, for a baby shower and they were SO FABULOUS!!!!! Beautifully decorated, too!! Every single person commented on how delicious they were! Mondelli’s never disappoints!!

I'm now living in jonesbrough Tn and I still talk about this place. My dad and I used to go everyday before school and see Mrs. Mondelli and get a donut. I loved going in and miss it everyday. I can't wait until my daughter is a little older because I know I will be making a trip up to get her some sweets and let her see where her mom had so many found memories as a kid <3

We live close by, service is good, prices are average for a bakery and you get wonderful cakes for any event and the donuts are also goodYou can't go wrong with them

I purchased a beautifully decorated, custom-made, 8" round for $20, which I picked up on the same day it was ordered! The cake looked like it could have been $50. My husband frequently uses Mondelli's for corporate events, and I've heard him rave about their buttercream frosting. So on his birthday, Mondelli's was the obvious choice for his cake. And now I see why Mondelli's is his go-to, aside from the buttercream frosting. The people running that bakery are friendly, efficient and talented. And their prices are really good!

We have been buying birthday cakes at Mondelli's for several years, and they never disappoint. Sure, it may cost a little bit more than a sheet cake from WalMart or Kroger, but once you take a bite, you realize why it costs a little more - the product is vastly superior. We have asked for their help in customizing the cake decor to reflect whatever theme we've gone with for the party, and I've always been very pleased with how they came out. We will keep patronizing this business as long as they keep turning out the excellent cakes. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

I love Mondelli's pasteries. I have tried their cookies and they are to die for. I am 50 and still enjoy the large animal and flower cut outs with colored sugar on them or light icing. Their long johns and cream horns are excellent as well. This bakery has been in Lexington for generations and has excellent customer service. Thanks Mondelli!!

So we ordered a big cake for our daughters 1st birthday and a smash cake for her alone. The big cake was DELICIOUS and well decorated. However my daughters smash cake was dry and stale. For the price paid I hoped both cakes to be great quality.
