Monarch Recovery Sports Grill

They just renovated it and it's awesome!!! The food is really good and the servers are super friendly. It's kind of hard to see from the street but it's on the bottom floor of the Springhill Suites and you can park in the hotel parking part of the garage behind the hotel for free!

This place is a joke. We stopped by a few times during the week while staying at the hotel so we had several experiences. They were sold out of most everything the first time we went. There second time, there was an event across the street so the restaurant was full. There was only one waitress and one bartender. It was a mess. On both occasions the waitresses were not familiar with the menu and the drinks. I do not recommend coming here.

Food is great and staff is very friendly. I go here often and enjoy the experience. I recommend going on wing Mondays!

I would give 0 stars if possible, took 10 min. To bring water out and didnt come by to take our order for 45 min. Then after we ordered we waited an additional 45 min. And nothing. The waiter didnt stop by or anything. We got 2 waters and 2 beers and was charged for 4 beers.

I had to edit my review from 5 stars to one and waited a month and 5 visits to make up my mind that this place went from amazing to horrible with just the replacement of one person. The previous manager Cedric was on point and the new manager treats you as if you’re an intruder when you eat here. All I get is one word answers, asked “what do you want” for my order... extremely rude. But when an attractive young female comes in he’s all over them, it’s super creepy. The food isn’t bad, but that wasn’t why I used to come here, now the service is horrible and after giving it multiple visits and their chance to redeem themselves this will be my last visit unless I hear about this guy leaving or being fired. Went from a regular customer to never again.

Fantastic staff and service! Credric was phenomenal, and made me the best wings in Norfolk.

Terrible. Food mediocre at best for taste. Pricey for what you get. Got steak sandwich. Had two bites that had meat in it. Mostly bread 😳 Service average. They weren't crowded at all but food took way too long.

Wish a way to give his place zero Stars. Hard to earn the worst service award for the entire Hampton Roads but they achieved it!

slowest service i’ve ever experienced anywhere. took over an hour to order food with 3 tables in the restaurant. had to go to the bar to get drink refills. order messed up when it arrived. when we asked the bartender for our server after not seeing her for 20-30 minutes, she came out and apologized, that she “made a huge mess in the back and was cleaning it up”. overall we were there for almost 2 hours. ridiculous. food was decent but the service ruined everything. will not return.

I highly recommend trying the Wisconsin Cheese Curds. They come with a raspberry melba (think of berries pureed to make a thick, sticky sauce) and a thai sweet chili sauce. I honestly, was shocked at how much I enjoyed cheese curds dipped in the raspberry melba. Delicious! I also had the Chopped Southwest Salad. It's a huge portion that comes tossed in ranch dressing. Then on top, they drizzle a chipotle ranch to add a slight kick. The grilled chicken is evenly distributed in every bite. Very easy and enjoyable to eat. Great service in the afternoon with a plethora of TVs showcasing a multitude of sports channels.Bonus: If you're staying at the connected Springhill Suites, ask for the food delivery to your room. Don't forget to ask for plastic utensils.

Friendly atmosphere, decent bite to eat, full service bar. I've always had my order correct, gotten drinks in a timely manner, etc... Keep in mind that it's a relatively small bar, so if it's packed in there... yes it's going to take a little longer. Anyhow, Derek/Cedric are both very friendly bartenders. Cheers.

Standard bar food. Prices decent and service is usually pretty good.

Kiss the chef not only was our food tasteful it was a delight to watch the game and chew cold chew tasty morsals and drink cold brew ...How about that and dessert phenomenal
