The guy who takes you to the elevator up was a complete jerk to me and made fun of me. Wasn't cool. The bar's location is amazing! Such a beautiful view and ambiance. The drinks are standard, nothing super special -some of the ingredients didn't taste natural (could be off but that's how I felt). Good time with a not busy week day.

Our wonderful server Suki was very welcoming and delightful to talk to. She’s a wonderful conversationalist and a true Detroiter at heart. She recommended drinks based on our needs and even satisfied our craving for something sweet since they didn’t offer dessert but she arrived with a sweet foamy drink called “Violet Intentions” which was perfect. We will be back because of her and the positively amazing views of Downtown Detroit. Thank you Suki!!

Great place for a date night or drinks. The view is great! Drinks are spectacular. You can’t go wrong with this place, they also have some food as well. Must visit

Monarch Club is my new favorite place in Detroit. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The drinks are also quite tasty and in general reasonably priced. But it's really the views from the rooftop patios that are the draw. Explore to see different vantage points of the city and go on Friday night to see the Tigers fireworks. It's really something to watch the sun set as well.

Rating based on view and drink service. Had a pint of draft craft beer ($5-$6) and an old fashioned ($12). Well made drink. Service was top notch. Sat on the patio on a Wed evening around 5. Both of us were able to score a small table. Gets busy fast. Cannot reserve any seats on the main patio. Nice fire pit in the back corner.
