I made reservations online so we could grab a bite before the Songs & Stories show with Art Alexakis and company last Thursday. We were seated immediately towards the back, and had a great server. My husband ordered a beer. I had the Beast of Bourbon when I should have stuck with beer or wine. It was Knob Creek made with maple syrup and chocolate bitters, which sounded good on the menu, but was way too sweet. I finished it because they charge $13.

In one word....unbelievable. From the unique salsas and guacamoles, to the diverse entrees; Momocho perfectly blends mexican and modern cuisine into one of the best dining experiences I have ever experienced.

Awesome food! Their chips are really really good, and they have a bunch of different dips to go with them. Food wasn't cheap but it was really good. definitely would come again if I'm ever in Cleveland

I’ve been to Momocho several times, and this will be my last. Our waitress was very kind, but our food took over an hour to come out, and when it finally arrived it was difficult to eat. The rice was so undercooked it was like eating a pile of rocks, and my fish was so burnt it was like chewing leather. Our waitress was kind enough to remove my fish from our bill, but then as we were walking out, the hostess was walking by and pushed my mother out of the way into a wall. She never turned to apologize or see if my mother was okay. I’m disgusted that Momocho would hire an employee that would treat customers like this. She should be fired immediately, but with the way service has gone down hill here, I’m sure she’ll be the next employee of the month. Don’t waste your money. There are MUCH better Mexican joints in Cleveland that won’t aggressively push you into walls while you dine.

My favorite restaurant in Cleveland. Get the guacamole, try not to fill up on the best chips in town, and try to split entrees because you're going to want to eat everything on the menu. Pro tip: make sure you get the cucumber margarita in their sampler flight!

Who said cleveland didn't have good Mexican food? I was first attracted to this place because I saw some delicious pics of margarita flights. I was definitely craving some margaritas on a Saturday night. I ordered the pineapple, cucumber, and mango. My favorite was the spicy mango, but my brother loved the cucumber.

I had the carne asada, even thought I personally feel like it should be about half the price, it’s very tasty. Nice atmosphere and very nice wait staff. I have to say though, those fried potatoes are damn near mouthgasmic lol. The pomegranate margarita was really good too! Very smooth and not too strong. My cousin got the chicken tinga and that was equally delicious. My only complaint (besides the price) is that I didn’t have enough room to try the fried ice cream. It looks so good!! Hope to return soon and try something else off the menu. (Just a disclaimer, the photo is taken off Momocho’s Instagram and I did not take it)

My water was never empty and she never acted annoyed by our group full of loud kiddos. I would definitely go back not only for the delicious food (I want to try so many more items), but also for the great service! Give it a try, you won't regret it!

This restaurant is a rare find. The atmosphere is quiet and cozy. The drinks are strong and palatable. The service is attentive and educated. The meal served to is was amongst the best I have had in months. Flavor and presentation was a modern take with certain authenticity. Not a cheap spot, but the quality reflects the price.

This gem in Celevand is a must! We drove in from Buffalo from some nice Google reviews and let me tell you they did not lie. We lucked up met the owner, Eric. He came to greet us once hearing we were from out of town. That alone set the tone for the visit. He was so nice. Now to the food.. this was by far some of the best food ever. They have a tamale that is out of this world. My husband is southern and we have eaten tamales in alot if places, this one hands down was amazing. You cant come and not sample the amazing guacamole and salsa, all so fresh and tasty. Dont forget get the margarita samplers!!!!! Best Maragritas ever, and I was introduced to a ant salt rim, not a typo, yes ANTS, amazing!!!!!! Every dish we had was so fresh and just dam good!!!! This is beyond 5 star!!!! We also bought tshirts so we can rep this spot everywhere we go!!! I dont want to leave out the service was also amazing!!!!

My favorite mod-mex restaurant of all time. Great food (especially the chips, salsa, & guacamole) & even better drinks (margaritas & tequilas). Staff is all top-notch, too.

Food is delicious!!They have a very extensive, all home made mixes Margarita menu, as well as a great fresh Guacamole menu.It is a very busy place. You definitely need reservations. My daughter and I got pretty lucky we were able to get a table in the bar area. We waited though. But... Had a great margarita and some delicious guacamole while we waited. And the food was worth the wait! 😋

I usually do because it can tend to get busy

They sell it by the bottle at the restaurant.

Yes it's next door, but it's not very big, so be prepared to parallel park

It does get very busy. After 8:30 it still stays very full. From what I remember there is a 30 minute cut off for food.
