BEWARE: if you order takeout make sure your bag is not dripping. And if your bag is dripping be even more careful because the staff will insult you and do nothing to help. Especially the big guy who just threw cold noodles in a new to-go bowl. LITERALLY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. IF I WAS THE OWNER I'D BE ASHAMED OF MY STAFF

The food is not too expensive, great servers with good customer service, the food was great, the flavors exploded in my mouth and everything melted in my mouth. I definitely recommend it. Specially the sliders and the dumplings.

The matcha noodles in the watermelon are not on the menu but is available! Just ask the server. A nice refreshing dish for a summer day. The pickled watermelon rinds inside are great too!

I ordered take away but changed my mind and then I couldn't take a seat. They actually denied me of eating their food at their bar. Haven't heard this type of bs in ages. They were very rude when I asked why.Bibimbap didn't even have an egg and charged almost $4 for a water.Go to the Very Fresh Noodles instead or Los Tacos right across from these guys.

Finding a place to satisfy my Asian cravings at Chelsea Piers ... I found this mokbar resto. It has noodles which is their main entree and then they had small plates as well which included dumplings and and some wings. The place is small and you really need to sit in a bar if you plan to dine in the place. Overall a very positive experience. I recommend if you are looking for some noodle experience.

Food is just okay. Staff is not friendly, felt like a bother. Won't split checks individually during lunch hours.

Really great food ! And service was amazing! Felt like we were the only ones there and getting private treatment. Best Ramen I've had so far. Its inside the Chelsea Market so it's very busy around you but I still felt inclusive. I wish I remembered the services name he was just awesome! We had the classic Ramen with shredded pork and an egg. It was soo good!

The best thing about this place is its happy hour offerings that include good priced drinks but most importantly, the $5 plates. I dined at the bar with three friends and basically tried every happy hour food item. The standouts were the spicy cornflake chicken wings, the pork ho cake and the spicy edamame. I had the cold vegan ramen in coconut and soy paste "broth" for my entree which was good but I'd try meat ramen on a return trip. The staff is attentive and speedy, too!

Mokbar is great for a quick meal. Their simple menu is a mixture of Japanese/Korean cuisine. Food is prepared in front of you as you wait. Our meal was sensational.

Bibimboppers (fried rice balls) were absolutely amazing. Very flavorful, creative, and the drizzle of sauces was the cherry on top. 10 stars for the boppers. I also got the veggie dumplings which were pretty good but over priced. 5 little dumplings for $8. I was slightly irritated they wouldn’t let me eat my one taco from a different vendor in Chelsea Market despite me ordering $40 worth of food from here. I get it I guess but also there are so many vendors and so many offer little bites and snacks and there is no common area so that is why it was like come on it’s one taco and I bough your food too. My husband said the Classic Ramen bowl as the best ramen he’s ever had.

This place exceeded my expectations. I had budae ramen and gyoza. Actually they were better than those in Korea. The service was quick and friendly.

Came here around 9:30pm after visiting the Whitney museum on a Friday night. I've just heard of the Mokbar from the short videos made by owner Esther Choi on Alaska Airlines flight into NYC so we just need to try out her place. Wife had the ramen and I had the chicken curry noodle. Both were delicious and I especially love the curry with a nice strong kick to it like the Thai curry. Washed it down with a cold Kirin draft and all was good. Can recommend.

Yes, there are some gift shops but how affordable they are depends how much you are comfortable spending. To me cheap means under $5 bucks. You may be hard pressed to find gifts under $5.
