The food is fantastic and the service is terrific. It's hard to decide what to get because every menu option sounds amazing. The meal was big enough to not need appetizers but they sounded so good that I had to try some appetizers. The food also comes out so fast, cooked to perfection

Great place, awesome service - they were very attentive! The food was tasty, the spicy was really spicy! My only complaint was that they didn't have enough Kimchi dishes! But you will leave with a full belly!

Fantastic Korean food, wonderfully friendly service in the heart of downtown Providence. All entrees are served on wooden trays. And the prices have gratuities baked in. No tipping necessary. But ya can...

Food was good. Decent sized portions, we didnt leave hungry. If your expecting traditionally served Korean food with all the different side dishes, you wont get that here.

Nice place, comfy. Server really great. I just wish the food more spicy. I ordered spicy squid and pork belly, but it's not really spicy

Stumbled in here the first time we were visiting Providence and getting shut down by 90+ min waits at every other restaurant, but what a gem! Mokban hits home with their blend of traditional and modern Korean cuisine. Delicious and authentic - this place is a treat and I'll be delighted to come back here everytime we're in town! Wish they had one in Boston!

The food is always great! We often just go for the appetizers, but their meals are delicious too. The only thing is they have this one yummy tea (can't remember the name) and half the time they can't make it. It's so good! I just wish they had it all the time.

very cool atmosphere. down to earth and rugged. really nice wait staff. hip and cool place to go. the dumplings were an amazing appetizer. my meal was the Grilled Mushroom Ssam which was wonderful. the mushrooms were great despite me not being a fan. the sides were lovely. the broth was wonderfully savory with a hint of spice. I loved the rice as well. super great experience. on top of that the wait staff are paid above minimum wage and you are told that tipping isn't required which really leaves you feeling good for eating at a restaurant that treats their employees as good as they serve you.

An interesting dining experience indeed. The entrees seem to all come in trays neatly packaged per person. Each tray contains the entree dish and banchan (side dishes). The banchan were pretty tiny and definitely more americanized than traditional side dishes.Flavor wise, the food tastes good although more on the minimalist end in terms of portion. A little bit too salty for my tastes though.Also, the floors are very sticky!

I absolutely loved this place! I also went with a friend of mine who is from Korea and he gave it a 5 star rating as well which really speaks to the foods authenticity. The service was friendly and the food came out very quickly on my first visit. The food was so good I came back the very next day to try some other dishes. I'm sorry to say my service experience was not the same the next visit (my waiter legit forgot to put my order in while I saw two tables come in after me get there food before me) but I'm still giving it 5 stars because the food was still excellent! If you go you won't be dissappointed.
