Had the Vaca Frita. The beef steak was well seasoned and nicely charred. Onions perfectly caramelized. Definable recommend if you like good food?

Just had our first meal at MOJO. Loved it. Had their yummy coconut eggnog and the sample plate. Highly recommend.

All the food was ok, it just needed a lot more seasonings. Garlic, onions, cumin, oregano. I don’t use that much salt and found everything lacking in salt. All easy fixes, someone needs to taste the food and adjust it. I wish them success, would love to see the restaurant flourish.

Service was great. Foodcan be better. Beans didn't taste Cuban. A new recipe would help their cause.

Stop by for dinner what a surprise. This place is fantastic. The food was awesome and the service was great as well. We will absolutely come back.

I can’t come here one more time without leaving a review!!!! My boyfriend is Puerto Rican and Mojo gets his Caribbean stamp of approval. I love getting the Plato Mixto for a nice variety. The cubano is amazing. Always an extra side of maduros because they are sooo good. The Cafe con leche is amazing and the guava cheese pastelito to pair is just heaven. Recently had their brunch and I can’t stop thinking about the “tostada” they use mmmm so crispy and delicious. I definitely want to come back for the French toast, avocado toast and the loaded plantain hash. If you have not been here you must go immediately!!

The service was impeccable, and the food matched! I’m so happy to find a place that serves cassava fries and sweet plantains. You’ll definitely feel transported to Cuba with this one!

We found this place about 5 weeks ago, and we are so glad we came back a third time today. The food is always delicious. The staff are very welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable.

Flavorful food. Sides had good size portions, but entree & starter portions were a bit small. Bar service was slow. The decor was great.

I came in with a friend today for the first time. Now, I'm pretty picky about my Cuban food. I've only ever had it made for me by an authentic Cuban grandmother. This food was fantastic. I had the picadillo and the spinach, cheese, and egg empinadas from the small plate section. They were crisp, light, perfectly flavored, and so fresh! My friend had his usual, the lechan asado with fried plantains, which I am told is consistently phenomenal. The staff was warm and delightful, and familiar with regulars. The atmosphere was just beautifully done, and the prices were quite reasonable. They have a regular and a small menu to fit any appetite or budget. These folks really took the essence of Cuba to Tucson. Cheers!

I’m a little torn between giving this place a 3 or a 4, but the food was eh overall. I grew up in Miami and am Hispanic myself, so I was hoping to taste home at this restaurant but was disappointed. The food smelled and looked delicious as it was coming up, but there was just no flavor — the mojo chicken was dry, and the beans needed salt or some Adobo as did the ropa vieja. The plating needs to be rethought as well. The banana leaf and random stems of cilantro as garnishes just make the plate pretty for pictures. They serve no purpose. The bakery is this restaurant’s saving grace. If you’re familiar with SoFla, then the best description I can give you is this place is a step above Pollo Tropical with a bigger price tag. I’ll try it again once the restaurant is settled and figured out since they just opened a little over a week ago, but for now I’ll keep it at 3 stars.

Being Cuban and raised in a Cuban household I can tell you this is authentic Cuban food. The picadillo was excellent. The black beans and rice were also very very good. Portions are generous and reasonably priced. Don't forget to try the rum bar. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for authentic Cuban food.

Real food, nice vibe and decor. The whole experience was refreshing. We will definitely be bringing people back!

LOVED this place. We love Cuban food and were thrilled to find it. Excellent menu, something for everyone but dont skip the plantain or Yuca. The sampler plate is a good place to start. Great bartender with full bar. Mojitos were super! Go!!
