Moctezumas Taqueria

The food here was great. We had 7 at our table and nobody complained about the food. There was a delay on getting more salsa and chips. Also the waitress forgot to put captain in my drink, but the rest was great.

Delicious from start to finish and great friendly service.

Disappointing after a friend recommended this eatery. The margarita I had barely had any tequila in it and our young waiter kept apologizing when he was late with refills and the check. I'm sure there are better Mexican Restaurants in the Columbia SC area.

This place is so nice and authentic. The atmosphere is amazing. It’s kind of small but it just adds to the character. The margaritas are delicious and strong so watch out for that lol. The food is good and comes out fast and the cheese dip is a must. I definitely will be coming back.

Good guacamole and salsa but everything else was just ok...

Moctezumas is SO good. I've eaten there several times, and I've yet to find a dish I don't like. My favorite so far is the spinach quesadilla. They're so good and so filling.

Ya know I love everything about this place. Food is great. Service is usually pretty good. The owner is a great guy too.

Past by it driving too fast. It is adjacent to a Mexican market. Parking is slim in the front but better in the back. Glad I turned around, went straight for three street tacos. The tacos were good sized and loaded well and went well with the complimentery chips and salsa.

Just ordered their Taco Bar! Amazing. So much food for a fair price and just damn delicious.

The food is good, but the service is horrible. It was Sunday and not busy. The waiter took forever to come get the order. Had to ask for 3 times for an extra plate while the waiter was walking aound without getting the plate. Then he probably realized that I may not tip him, so he applied a 25% gratuity fee. Totally cringy! Not going there again.

This restaurant was recommend by a friend. The outside does not do this place justice. Once inside the decor is beautiful and authentic. The atmosphere for dinner and lunch is lively. For a smaller restaurant, it is not too loud and the music is played at a good volume to where you don't need to talk loudly to hear who you are dining with. Last but not least the food and the service is excellent. This is only my second time here, and it is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Columbia. Highly recommend.

I ate here the other day. Had beef chimichangas and got awful food poisoning. Seven people out of our group did actually. I called dhec because when i asked who the owner was they said Hanry as its registered to the SC sec of state and then I am told it’s Pedro. We are confused and can’t figure out what’s going on. Once I contacted the state I am told that the acting business owner isn’t even a register tax payer in the state. I’m hoping my lawyers will get this figured out so I can have my medical expenses covered.

Great place to get some tacos and a cold beer.
