One of my favorite little weekly visits. The sushi is great, especially for the price. The staff is friendly and I actually like that the place is so small. Makes it feel cozy.

Been my take out sushi spot for two years and never had a bad experience - kind staff, good fish, great 3 roll special.

Quaint little place only 3 staff. The food was great, but overall lacked pizzazzz to stand out.. definitely has potential to grow

Small dining area holds this awesome sushi restaurant. The locals love the place by the amount of take out during my visit.

I really love this place. I've done both delivery and have been to the restaurant itself. It's tiny but the vibe is great and everybody is super friendly. I always order the Shrimp Tempura rolls with extra eel sauce. Absolutely delicious. Can't speak for their other sushi options.

We were visiting Philly and stopped by for a quick lunch. Small place with great service and amazing rolls.

The special rolls are really good. I particularly loved the black angel roll. Slightly sweet but not too much.

Lunch special two rolls and soup a great deal at $8.50+. Appeared empty during noon weekday in a cozy seating area. Decent quality rolls, but expect to pay more elsewhere for better quality.

This is a small intimate sushi BYOB restaurant in the Rittenhouse square area, serving moderately priced sushi.I had the sashimi lunch special that was accompanied by a choice of soup or salad. Lunch specials range between $10 and $15. The sashimi was delicious and I could honestly find no fault with it. The miso soup and rice bowl we're good too. This location has 4 high chairs at the counter, and around 4 tables that seat 4 each. They weren't too busy at lunch time, but had a lot of people picking up online orders.

I discovered this quaint little sushi restaurant while visiting family. Too my surprise, there were very little crowds during peak hours. For as inexpensive as they are, I was shocked how excellent their quality of food and service were. I have never had even the slightest unpleasant experience here. I find it funny that they always play 90’s r&b in the restaurant and I sometimes hear the same song twice while dining. If I had to suggest what to get, I would say the sushi appetizer and the Philadelphia rolls. Overall: A+

I've stumbled upon this place and been surprised by the sushi quality *twice* now, so I had to write a review. The place is tiny, casual and very moderate in price, but the sweet service, quick execution, and great flavors make it a go-to for me when I need a sushi fix in the Rittenhouse area. When I'm looking to have a sit-down dinner for one on my way out of Center City, I can fly in and out of Machi in 40 minutes, and head home satisfied plus having spent less than $15 for an appetizer and two rolls - that's unheard of! My go-tos are the eel roll and spicy tuna roll. Nothing fancy or ostentatious about this place, just a good bite for a great price.

Fantastic sushi for a great price! The location is in a great part of the city and it’s a very intimate environment. The staff was friendly and our sushi was done within 5 minutes of ordering. The prices are unbeatable even at places outside of the city! Highly recommend anyone looking for some good sushi to come here
