Mix It Up, A Salad Boutique

I have mixed feelings about Mix It Up. I love fresh salads that are mixed to order and I can custom make, but the past couple times I have been here, it has been so slow, the staff is so busy talking to one another that my order is wrong and I inevitably end up with an item I dont want, but take it because I dont want to waste it. I have waited up to 25 minutes for soup. I also have called in an order and came to pick it up and was told it was never placed. I feel like it could be so much better if things were more organized and people offered better service. Also, I do feel it is a bit pricy for salads especially since mine is always pure vegetarian. I will give it one more chance, but am not overly positive about a different experience.

As I was walking in to get a salad two of the workers decided to continue their conversation that consisted with the use of the N word. Needless to say I didn't spend my money there. I was extremely offended and for a manager who was counting money allowed their workers to act such a way is a shame.

this is the best place i have been to for food. the service is excellent and so is the food. i like the theme and style of the interior in general. GREAT PLACE!!! :-)

I order a salad through grubhub.. Thinking I would have a nice and healthy lunch. My first salad had brown avocado and brown eggs in it. They offered to make a new one and send it- free of charge. My second salad was a lot better until I found random pieces of onions and edamame in it. God forbid I was allergic. That is not sanitary and I will NOT be ordering again. This is why I am always nervous to order food after complaining.

A coworker told me about Mix it Up so I thought I'd give it a shot for lunch. It's a bit pricey but no more than any other restaurant in White Plains. The food was delicious. No disappointment on my end. Loved the potato salad and fried chicken wings. Granted I waited a while to receive the food but only because the wings are cooked FRESH. They are NOT precooked. I will definitely stop in for lunch again.

My fiance and I were looking for a quick bite to eat while shopping in downtown White Plains. With the usual arena of pizza and hamburger shops we decided to go into Mix It Up to try it out. We were very pleased with the freshness of the salads and wraps and the service. We were given samples of their Chicken Noodle and Grandma's Vegetable soup. All of thefood was delicious. The decor was good but can be better. We were told that they will be remodeling soon. Overall, our experience was excellent.

this place is good but only if you're onsite at the restaurant as their delivery service is terrible. Every time I have ordered for delivery to my office (2 blocks away), the order has been lost, late, or wrong. Twice I have used their online ordering and received a confirmation only to call an hour later and be told they never got my order. Again, good salads but poor delivery experience for me

This place is soo overpriced and has little seating. The service + workers weren't informative and they were working very slowly. If you're willing to pay almost $20 for 1 salad then go here. Never again.

Mix it up has a soul food menu that isn't exposed like the rest of the food. Honestly it is easily some of the best soul food in Westchester. My issue is the fact that they (from the few times that I've gone for the "blackboard" menu) don't seem to have everything that's on the menu this ruined my most recent vist.

The salads are really good here , but the service sucks. They take too long they don't have enough staff. I was there the other day and waited about 40 minutes. People were walking out because it was taking so long. They are very friendly but the wait is little too much.

Literally stole from meTried ordering here through GrubHub, and they called saying they couldn't fill the order and had to cancel it. They still charged me $50 for the order. When I made a complaint through GrubHub, GrubHub called them and the person they spoke to claimed to be the manager and claimed he delivered it personally.

Had the Cobb - pretty tasty and good sized. I'd go back if I wanted to get a salad for lunch again. Restaurant would benefit massively if they streamlined the menu and focused on one offering. They should focus on being THE place to go if you want a salad in White Plains and make sure those select ingredients are fresh as can be.

Amazing food,friendly staff and positive atmosphere and energy that mixes with the food

Love this place! I can get a salad made exactly the way I like it! The wraps and entrees are really good too, and the staff is really friendly. I also had them deliver to me all the way in Greenwich. It took 45 minutes but was well worth it. For others to criticize based on delivery times is ridiculous, especially the guy who was "6 minutes away" and too lazy to walk there! Good food is worth waiting for :)
