Horrible customer service, with a very sketchy clientele. The food is generally very good, though. Not very healthy, but can be eaten in moderation if you workout regularly and consciously maintain your body. However, I will not continue to patronize this restaurant, because the young women who work there are all so rude and uncouth. Most of the men are polite, though.

I would really like to give them five stars, but they have more room for improvement.The food is great. I haven’t had a bad thing.My issue with them is their service. Nice people, but whenever I call in an order, it’s never ready when I arrive. NEVER! What’s the point in calling, then driving 30 minutes, just to wait another 40 minutes? My second issue with them is they address the customer with their problems. “O, we are short staffed.” ...”I may not be able to make a party platter for you because I have other catering to do. I’ll see if I can get someone to make it.” NONE of those issues are customers problems.

Awesome soul food, friendly staff! Will come back next time I'm here! Food was very well seasoned with intricate flavours.

Food so good hands down seafood salad and fish wrap, turkey wings , mac n cheese platter delicious and fully loaded and packed. I love it . It's a small establishment yes I see many complaints of customer service , and the wait etc . but honestly nothing is perfect; and at least you can see your food being prepared too hell ... my food was great . Hopefully in near future can expand need more restaurants like this one. Will keep supporting!!

The food is delicious. I love the sweet potatoes and mac n cheese.

I follow her on IG. She’s a humble hardworking woman. I’ve been watching the food and reading the comments. I decided 2 months before my birthday to make this my birthday experience with a never eaten dish. Well I did and I was proud to say the food is worth the hype and the price to me.😋👍🏽❤️ Lamb and shrimp Alfredo $35. ❤️❤️❤️My husband ordered 2 other dishes.

I kept hearing about this place. Finally order through Grubhub a couple of items on the menu. Food was delivered on time, it was good. But some of my items was not delivered. Disappointed

I love this.place. if you want REAL "your mama's.kitchen" food at a reasonable price, THIS.IS IT. I love the prices and the fact that you get a heavy plate like at a family reunion picnic. OMG. I eat here at least 3.times a.week because I cant cook nor.have the.time. i can get a.good meal with vegetables (my favorite is the cabbage). My grandson and daughter.are lovers as well. Try whiting or.shrimp plate. The banana pudding is.great WHEN THEY HAVE IT. ITS A RARITY.

I follow the restaurant on Instagram and the food looks great on IG. I ordered shrimp Alfredo and chicken and shrimp Alfredo by the phone. When I got there, I was told to wait 15 minutes. I kept going in and out of the store only to be told that it’d take another 15 minutes for the food. I ended up waiting a total of 2 hours for the food and watched as others that came after me left the store with their meals. Once I got the food, the shrimp were overly salty and the Alfredo was bland. With that experience, I would never go again.

Awesome food! Everything was delicious. Portions were big. The staff was very nice! Loved the candied yams and the mac and cheese. The fried chicken was high quality and super tatsty. Do not miss their secret sauce for the chicken!

Good food! The woman who took my order made me feel like family. The food was hot and fresh. It was a nice real food joint to stop by on a nice day!loved the shrimp, fish, cornbread and drinks!! My only beef is the Mac and cheese. Didn’t taste as good as other places I’ve been to and the flavor in the collards were a bit strong, but love they cooked it with meat! Definitely coming back!

I got the fried shrimp platter with candied yams and macaroni and cheese. The shrimp was fried beautifully and well seasoned.The candied yams were good. The macaroni and cheese was a little different, it wasn't my favorite. Overall I had a great experience and staff was very friendly.

I wasn't impressed..... The mac & cheese wasn't cheesy and way too greasy. The fried catfish had too much grease on it.The candied yams way too sweet. It felt like I was eating syrup and lastly the greens were ruined bcuz it was sweet. Overall I don't think I'll even try eating from there again to try something else bcuz everything I ordered just wasn't to my taste. You never know until you try and I've tried it, next.

Food well seasoned, just a bit over priced. Especially within that neighborhood & ambiance. Her collard greens are SWEET so be aware. That caught me off guard and it ruined my whole experience. Usually collard greens are savory. I’m not sure why they are sweet.

Unhappy with this oder my crab cakes were fried instead of broiled as requested and the smelled like old grease. Mac and cheese was really greasy and plain my son's patsa was very greasy as well. Very disappointed and displeased with this order 😒😒
