I feel like an outsider when I came here- but everyone was nice and welcoming. the bartender knew my name from the start... 5 star in my book. dispute the outsider feel, bartender made up for it....

Comfortable, slightly off the main highway, but easily accessable. Plenty parking. Standard prices, but pupu's come out complimentary once its clear you are going to stay and enjoy a few. Family owned, frequented by locals/regulars, all of whom will make you feel like part of the group. Bonus: Prettiest women in Hilo work here.

Nice local bar with karoke and pupus
