A nice variety of traditional breakfast food. Price a bit high for the simplicity of preparation. Brace yourself for how bad the coffee is. Refills unnecessary.

Slightly more expensive than you might expect, but well worth it. The food is excellent and service was great. It's called Milt's Coffee Shop (and the coffee is great) but this is actually an awesome full-service diner with a full menu available all day.

This restaurant did not come up in my first search while I was trying to find something good to eat in the area; however, I am so thankful that we stopped and tried it. I had the best chili verde that I have ever had and the chicken and waffles are perfect. The chicken is not just breaded and fried, but actually crispy!! The Belgian waffle was oerfectly cooked as well. The food was fresh everything is homemade nothing from a can and all the servers are very friendly and courteous. This is now a go-to place every time I'm in the area. I recommend this place for families and couples, a great atmosphere.

Love the deep pit omlet, the fried mashed potatoes and the biscuits and gravy.

The wife and I went there because Hodels was packed and I must say it was a place we will go back to again. The food was good and the service was good only drawback was my bacon was over cooked no problem ther I'll just have to let them know next time.

I had not been to Milts in a while, it just was not as good as the last time I was here. I remember the coffee was better and my chicken fried steak had the gravy under the steak, so it was not enough. Very odd. The staff is always great.

Another great hidden gem in Bakersfield. Great food and service. Price is reasonable and food was plentiful. They say they have the "best" fried chicken in town. Gonna have to try it in my next visit.
