Quick and fast

Great place for a quick fast sub and a warm cup of soup. My family has been enjoying subs from Milio's for years. You can walk inside to order or use the drive-thru - carryout only. I love to order the #4 Pilgrim's Pride, chips, and a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie. The service is always fast and spot on.

Awesome sandwiches

TMI - Not so much a review but a little history from someone that was around a very looooong time ago. First memory of that corner was in 1948 with a Trachte steel building was surrounded by a picket fence. The business specialized in hamburgers. That building was bulldozed and replaced with the present building that contained the Quick Shake Inn. The building was surrounded by parking lot and the business specialized in shakes and hamburgers. It catered to the high school crowd that had a one hour lunch at the time. Around 1960 the building remained but the business changed to a (Halvorson ??) dry cleaners pickup. I believe that lasted for many years and now I see it is back to food.

Milio's is a great local sandwich shop with fast service and good ingredients! They have a variety of different sandwiches ranging from Italian style to veggie. They also have good soup and cookies! Milio's has great pricing that compete with chain sandwich shops. That being said, they don't necessarily give you a lot of options and you can only get a cold sandwich. Milio's is a great place to swing by during lunch especially if you have a busy schedule. But make sure you go through the drive through because it is a popular spot for student at west highschool and the lines can be very long.

Best sub ever! Was in Madison for my checkup at UW Madison. Had a few hour's between appointments. Searched for restaurants. Said Milo's was voted #1 for the last few year's. I was not disappointed. Best sub EVER. I had the Godfather. It was delicious. The bread is divine. I love soft subs. Definitely was soft. Wishing I would of just bought a couple loaves to bring home! Milo...you need to open a shop in the Waukesha County area.

The question of the day is, what came first, Milio's or Jimmy Johns? The sandwiches and bread are pretty much identical! I know the following might seem like it ain't that great, but they are tasty sandwiches. But if you are imagining a stacked sandwich that is hard to fit in your mouth, cut that creation in half and you will have a Milio's sandwich. They are delightfully filling without making you feel like you're going to explode. The employees are precisely what you would want from a quick serve sandwich shop, fast, friendly, and knowledgable. Don't expect to eat here, there's no tables inside.
