Milestone 229

Milestone 229 has fantastic food at very reasonable prices. This restaurant offers a great menu that doesn’t get overly complicated. I have never had a bad meal here and anything that I choose is always excellent. This is a fantastic place for a date night or an evening out. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the quality of the food sets this place apart from other restaurant. Fantastic!

View is fantastic. Definitely recommend the patio seating for the warmer months. We went with our 3 kids ages 9(years) - 9(months) and they really enjoyed the view of the fountain and busy street /skyline.I would recommend a little more variety on the menu. Kids menu should have steak as an option. It would be nice if the dinner menu had more than one type of steak and tacos. Wait on food was a little slow but the staff were all friendly. Lemon chicken was yummy. We will be back again.

A very cool restaurant in downtown Columbus next to the river. Our dinner was delicious here. We started with the shrimp tacos and pretzels, which were both very tatsy. Our mains were the short rib pasta and chicken breast. Everything here was delicious and we left very full and happy. I imagine this restaurant is even nicer in the summer with the patio open.

Upscale elegant yet cozy and comfortable getaway with marvelous food and libation. Excellent service and conveniently located in scenic downtown Columbus. Brilliantly designed floor plan, well thought out seating. A real gem.

Milestone 229 is an amazing restaurant in a fantastic location. Its sits right in the Bicentennial Park and has an amazing view of the the Scioto River. Myself and a group of work colleagues ventured to Milestone for dinner and we were all impressed with the service and food offerings. We were able to select entries from burgers to short ribs to shrimp and grits. The libations were top notch and I would personally recommend the Manhattan. I left this establishment with a phenomenal restaurant to add to my list of places to return. 5 Stars.

I came into this restaurant at about 5 pm with a party of four more guest. I felt rushed to order immediately as soon as I sat down. I had the black waitress with the red glittery lipstick. It seemed like she had a bad attitude and she never asked me and another guest what we wanted to drink so, we settled with the water that was already at the table when we arrived. I ordered cream brûlée for desert and when I got it it was completely cold and inedible. Our waitress stated that she figured I wanted my desert after dinner but she never asked me directly if that’s what I wanted to do. I can also tell my desert was sitting for at least 10 minutes before it got brought out. The scenery is beautiful but overall the prices and customer service aren’t worth it.

Even when my food didn't come out right the first time, they fixed it with no questions asked. It was delicious the second time around. They also didn't mind modifying the sides, so that made it more enjoyable.

Really enjoyed the outdoor dining with the fountain nearby. The food was good; many of the options were pretty heavy. It was Sunday brunch, so selections were more limited than regular menu. Overall, enjoyable and reasonably priced.

Fantastic! Food is just want I was looking for. We got the short rib pasta, the roasted chicken, and the curry chicken. Every bite was an experience. Prices are really reasonable also.

great food, a bit of the pricey side but really good. good views of the park during the day and awesome outdoor seating. Make sure to get a reservation as they fill up quick. also , kind of a short menu so look ahead of time to make sure there is something that interests you. Valet available out front.

The food is solid and tasty and I have generally had very good service here. The outdoor patio is fabulous in fair weather and it overlooks Bicentennial Park. The interior has great light. Most recently we hosted a party for 15 and the reservations were easy, service great, and photographs of the event were spectacular. Valet parking was a huge plus for our out-of-town and older guests.

Like the views of Centennial Park & Scioto River. Parking is hazardous on the street. Not alot of choices for vegetarians or vegans. Yet the burger I ordered was excellent. The fries were a bit too salty for my taste, but perfect for anyone drinking alcohol or sodas.

I've loved Milestone for the longest time: the drinks, the food, the servers who actually care about their job... But Tammy truly made it a spectacular night! She made my experience with my best friend and I just so wonderful (especially for my birthday) and it meant the world to me! She is a gem- make sure to ask for her if you come!
