Milano Bakery

Great baked goods and if you are hungry their soup and sandwich combo is tasty as well. I notice a few people ordering pizza. I will try it next time I visit. The young lady waiting on me could have been nicer. She was not friendly to the customer at all but, I notice a young man waiting on his order and she was extremely friendly and smiling! He was her cousin....it would be nice if she treat her customers like she treat her family...just saying.

Fabulous. Excellent pastrami sandwich and lemon cake. Owner, manager and staff were great.

I love stopping in here for bread and other baked goods. Their prices are great and it doesn't get much better than grabbing a bread baked that day in that building. I wish they had a bit more variety as far as the kinds they put out and how the bread is sliced, sometimes I want something thicker for French toast or something. I ate in the cafe there today too and again, prices were great and food was pretty darn good.

One of my favorite DT places to be! Great food and atmosphere. Must try the apple pie!!!

A Detroit icon. A must visit when in Detroit. Perfect place for lunch after visiting the Eastern market. Incredible variety of fresh baked goods. Also, pizza made with there dough is fantastic. Just loaded with toppings

A little gem in the heart of eastern market. Service is wonderful and the product is awesome. Love this place. Great baked goods as well as soups, salads and sandwiches. All fantastic.

Don't live in the area, so I only come here for paczki day and they have some of the best paczkis. Very soft and fresh.

Had a major sweet tooth today so I stopped by Milano's to not only get my favorite apple & cherry Jack's but I had to get the Ambassador sandwich on an onion roll. It was near closing time so I was just able to get my order in. The food was hot off the flat top and the one cherry jack that I ate was awesome. This bakery is a must do for serious bakery lovers or those that enjoy fresh sandwiches, soups, pizza or breads.

Food is excellent. Service is ok. Very diverse business and customers. I love the four cheese grilled cheese sandwich on French bread.

This place makes the best cannolis in Michigan probably America I’ve ate in several states and nothing compares and they have some of the best service

I really enjoy getting snacks here and do many others. It's consistently busy. The poppy seed bear claws are my favorite. However, they aren't opened too late like many other businesses in the market area. It's also not an ideal location for spending time on the laptop with a coffee. There's no bike racks either. Still, the quality of their baked goods makes them worth a regular visit.

The food here is so delicious! We ate lunch here and enjoyed all of our meals. There is a crazy amount of fancy looking desserts with very reasonable prices. Staff was very polite and courteous. There was so many people waiting in line, but it actually went pretty quickly with how smoothly their system runs. We really enjoyed going here. Every time we come to Detroit we are going to want to stop here now!

This is a nice lil spot to grab a treat or even a delicious pzza/sandwich/soup/ sandwich. Friendly and clean place.
