Mike's City Diner

Portions are humongous - you can definitely share a plate with a friend & be fine! Service was somewhat nonexistent which is why I gave a 4 instead of 5. Cash only so make sure you come prepared!

The waitresses made me feel like a star, very humbled happy and I really felt welcome, I was there for breakfast with a frindcof mines, and got myself a giant Waffles with mix fruits and whip cream ontop, this was the way I asked for it, and they delivered.

The breakfast was good and staff was very friendly. Portions are big enough to share. I would definitely recommend the corned beef hash. This place is small, fills up fast, and, you may encounter a wait but it's well worth it. Only street(meter)parking available. Great place to dine alone or with friends.

I was only in town for a few days but this place was by far the best breakfast spot, at least from what I got to try. Service was amazing and the food was on point. Their omelettes and hashes are great!

First off this place has THE BEST french toast in the city. It's not too thick, the inside is just the right amount of fluffiness and chewiness and the flavor is just insane. I think they put it cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla that really puts it over the top. Second, they have some of the best home fries you'll ever have in the city as well. A lot of home fries aren't seasoned properly but not here. They don't skimp on seasoning and you can tell. Every bite is so good, it's kind of addicting. Everything I've had here is good. I only come on weekends and if I do I come early by 8am as it gets crowded after that starting. Servers are always so nice and welcoming, overall great place.

Lovely diner, you can really taste the quality here. Coffee was great! Followed by the real corn beef hash and blueberry pancakes. The home fries (potatoes) are addictive as well. The pricing is extremely reasonable. I'll be back Mike!

The food was amazing and reasonable priced. The place was packed and we had to wait in line until a table was available. It was all worth the wait. The waitress kept coming over to make sure we were all set

Classic diner, wonderful food. Expect a wait on the weekends, totally worth it. Great specials board. Staff is great at what they do. This place is cash only!

Some of the best service I’ve ever had at breakfast. I sat at the counter and very much enjoyed watching the kitchen hussle. The duck hash tasted so good and their home fries are some of the best I’ve tasted. Highly recommend. It will be hard for me not to eat here for my entire time in Boston. And it’s even cooler that they do takeout. Cash only!

So good. Great size portions and worth the wait for a table! You can easily drive right past this place but don't! The food was really really tasty and you get a good size portion. I sometimes can be hungry after an entree but not here.The atmosphere is a diner. No frills, classic diner decor with good service from the staff and the food comes out in a very reasonable time. I'll be coming back here when I'm back in Boston for sure.

I like this diner, fast service, friendly servers, delicious food, large portions and reasonable prices. So what's there not to like about this diner? Only one thing, the limited parking, in which they can't control. So despite the limited parking this is still a 5-Star Diner.

Great vibes at this place, employees were very warm and welcoming and it really gave a small town diner feel right in the city. We had the Corned Beef Benedict and that was AMAZING. Must visit while in Boston.
