Food was cooked right, served fast, and with good portion sizes to feel completely stuffed well before the dessert comes out. Atmosphere was chill, good daytime natural lighting, but music was a little loud today and guests had to keep repeating things. Will return to try more items.

The food was good but overall I feel it was a little pricey for Mexican food. I had Miguel's seafood plate with shrimp and scallops, both were overcooked a little and could have used a little more flavoring. Customer service was adequate and the cocktails were decent enough. Being completely honest, it wasn't the best Mexican food I've ever had but it definitely wasn't the worst.

I eat a LOT of Mexican food in my travels and Miguel's is one of the best I've found! Their queso is the greatest I've tried, bar none. Great atmosphere and quick service, too!

Wanted to share my amazing experience. We love Miguel's and go there often. We always experience great food and great service. Yesterday we ordered "to go" for the first time and when we got home with the wrong order, the manager went above and beyond to make it right! I just want the staff to know we appreciate everything you do to make your customers happy. See you next time! ðŸ˜

Great place for Authentic Mexican cuisine. Little on the pricey side in my opinion but the table side made fresh guacamole is to die for!!!! The guacamole makes it worth the trip and a few tequila shots easies the sticker shock of the tabðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ˜‰

I personally think Miguel's has the closest thing to the San Diego quality Mexican style food since I moved from there to Tampa. I have had their food years before and it was spectacular. I visited again recently and was not disappointed. As far as American style Mexican is concerned, it's the most authentic near by(my previous post was for a burger restaurant, not sure how it was switched)

When we lived in South Tampa my wife an I would visit Miguel's at least once a month. The food is that good. My favorite is the chili relleno. But other dishes are just as good. We have moved from South Tampa but still visit when we can.

I had the India (2) Fried small flour tortillas topped with refried beans, jack cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, sour cream & Grilled Chicken. $16.50. With tampa’s highest tax in the state it’s 18 dollars. The chips and salsa really were better then the dinner . The margarita was good but again for 10 dollars they should be good. I like the atmosphere and service my food had all the things it should have but nothing that stands out. The food could use some cilantro or some good roasted chili’s it’s nothing spectacular. I guess I just really want something really south west with some flavor not the same thing I can make from Publix. LoL 😂

Food was excellent. The decor is really nice they have a unclosed patio infront and a really nice rear outdoor patio decorated beautiful! Staff was very nice and service was quick. We waited on nothing. Chips and salsa before we sat down and our Margaritas was made just right. And they have a reasonably priced menu. I will most definitely be back

Great food. Good service. Server could have done better. Checked on us frequently, but Didn't refill water glasses, didn't suggest anything, and didn't offer anything. Just basic attentiveness. We had to ask for everything we got except for the free chips and salsa

A go to for tex-mex! Some of the best Tex-mex I’ve ever had. I’m going back tomorrow night to get the shrimp quesadilla again!

We always have a great time here! The food and service are great. They do get very busy for dinner sometimes, so be prepared to wait a little while for a table. If you like spicy things, ask the waiter for spicy salsa!

Moved away. Will miss this restaurant. Lovely inside since renovations. Never a bad meal or experience.

The food was good, although the prices were high. I had the chicken soft tacos with rice and beans. It was seriously good, however for the same quality and taste, I could have spent half as much from other Mexican restaurants not located on Kennedy Ave. Paying for location. The service was also very good, I was just a little put-off that they replaced half-full baskets of chips and bowls of salsa with new baskets and bowls... Literally wasting food.
