Cafe Michelangelo is fabulous! It is just inside the ancient walled city of Rothenburg and the food is wonderful the staff speak English. There is also a hotel above the restaurant that is lovely and quiet. We only stayed one night, but wished we had more time to explore this ancient town and the surrounding area it is so beautiful.

The pasta is homemade and DELICIOUS. The Buffalo Mozzarella, Tomato, and Basil Salad OUTSTANDING. Everything was top notch, and I believe this is the best restaurant in Rothenburg. The wait staff was very helpful with recommendations. The ambience is beautiful, directly next to the wall.

Very attentive host, waiters & chef. Portions ample. Salad and bread were fresh. Spaghetti was tasty. Lighting the tall candle was a nice touch. Music was beautiful, yet light. We had our conversation without shouting. Very helpful staff and no pressure.

Best seafood pasta ever experienced! It’s pity that this one and only meal I have in Rothenburg cannot be recreated again ;( if you are visiting in this city, make sure you come visit this restaurant, you will be amazed!
