My husband and I had the pleasure to eat at Michael’s on December 13, 2023. Our server was Delaney, a phenomenal woman! We visit St. Augustine every year for the Christmas Night of Lights; a walk around St. Augustine in and of itself for the Christmas spectacular is truly spectacular. We planned to stay the night ( we live in Jacksonville, Fl., so it’s a short drive; but one that is not conducive to an all-encompassing evening. In other words, we don’t drink and drive!). Anyway, we made a reservation at Michael’s, and the maitre’d greeted us at the appointed hour. We ordered the sourdough bread with miso butter. It was fabulous! For the main course we ordered the 10oz filet mignon, pomme purée and mushrooms.. very simply, dinner was beyond expections. The chef kindly brought out the steak and asked us to cut it to confirm it was cooked to order. It was. Michaels is upscale, sophisticated and treats its gusts as though they are VIP’s. Do yourselves a favor, make a reservation, enjoy a preternatural dinner, and prepare to be dazzled.

Amazing experience! Loved everything we tried here. We didn't have reservations but we squeezed in when they opened at 5. Highly recommend you try it out
