The pizza and ice cream are good, but the owner is super rude. He will make you wait outside if you get ice cream to-go, even if there is plenty of space to wait inside in the AC. He yelled at a young lady for having her feet on the bench. Asking politely and not humiliating her would have definitely been a better option, sir.

Truly amazing Ice cream with an old school 50's intimate feel to it. Now the food on the other hand is another thing. The taste is kind of bland compared to other Italian restaurants. The portions are WAY too small for the price but TBH the crowd is typically the elderly or young children that probably don't mind/notice.

Love this Highland Square gem, great place for families. Food is excellent & Mary Coyle's icecream, Ben Heggy's candy - perfect!

It's always a treat to visit Mary Coyle Old Fachioned Ice Cream Parlour at Highland Sq. Delicious ice creams made on premisis, award winning pizza ... Always a treat to cobble with Mr. Trecaso. If it ain't on the menu, they will make custom treats to your specifications. But first, look long and hard at the menu. They have done a lot of work to create magnificent dishes. Friendly staff. Free parking. Close to the Highland Theater and other small businesses. A easy night e walk on West Hill.

The owner is such a baby. He’s rude to customers and treats them like garbage. I had my feet resting on my seat and he came over and snapped at me. I called him to tell him my concern and was completely unapologetic. He clearly is a sad waste and has nothing else better in his life to do then to pick on his paying customers. Great business model Michael! Keep up the good work bud.

Extremely rude staff. Asked if they had any diet soda to order with my meal as I had never been here before and the older waitress loudly and condescendingly told me they only have "diet water" - she was NOT joking. Doesn't make you feel good, to say the least 😳
