MezGouf Middle Eastern Cousine

A new gem found on the Etobicoke culinary scene. The Iraqi good is incredible and the portion size does not disappoint. We have come back now several times and we know we will be back. In hindsight we should have bought party tickets to New Year's 2020. Next year... for sure.

Beautiful restaurant interior, recently renovated and so bright, so open, very cozy spot. The food was amazing and portion sizes were massive. Right balance of flavors, not too overwhelming with any of the spices or salt which was such a nice change. Very, very generous portions — saying it again and again, considering that one dish per person would probably be more than enough. The bread was so soft and was awesome to have the next day and everything was a hit for tiny humans under 2yo. Only downside? The items on the specials menu looked delicious and if we had 30-45 minutes to spare for the prep time I’m positive it would have been next level. Full respect for the value of time and preparation to have flavors soak in, but I do wish I could have had more time to try one of those dishes. Will definitely be back and recommending lots of friends to try this restaurant down Kipling Ave.

I highly recommend this place! Shout out to Tina for the incredible and hospitable service :) The food was amazing. Not only was it presented beautifully but it tasted amazing. We got the mixed platter, some shawarmas, fattoush salad, beef samosas, & Zubadai fish. They provided us with lentil soup to start & even some warm tea ON THE HOUSE to finish off our meal. We Will definitely be coming back!
