I've been here several times with my partner and we really loved the food however the past two times we've gotten it we've had issues. We both always order vegetarian food because one of us is vegetarian and the other eats halal but the last time we sat in our food had two pieces of sausage randomly in it. It's been a while so today we decided to try again and ordered take away and it happened again. It would be appreciated if they could pay closer attention to these things to accommodate people's religious and dietary restrictions.

Stepped in on a whim Sunday afternoon, and did NOT regret it! Great atmosphere, welcoming, greeted by several friendly folks, who gave a quick tour of the menu. I had two incredibly flavorful and unique dishes! The roasted cashew queso was warm, smooth and had a subtle heat that just, served with some of the best chips I've ever had in a restaurant. The Mexican jambalaya small bowl hit all the right flavor notes for me, too. My server Ryan was terrific - friendly, great smile and gave me the history of the restaurant. I now understand why the place had the fun food truck/street food vibe. I'll be back on future visits to DC!

Awesome place, and delicious modern Mexican food. The staff were very friendly and recommended their best dishes. The menu has some very nice vegetarian tacos and bowls. We tried the seasonal charred cauliflower and the grilled avocado taco and both were delicious. Food comes in slightly spicy, but only to the point to boosting all the other flavors. We'll definitely come back!

The food was very good. The beer taps weren't working, and the fryers weren't working. Other than that, great food, attentive staff. I will be back to try more things.

Drinks and food...equally as delicious. Decor was gorgeous...you can tell it has New York roots. The service was a little slow...but it was because they had new employees working that day.

Cute Mexican restaurants on 14th st! Highly recommend trying their quesarittos! Their portion is small so I suggest ordering two small dishes per person. I shared a large mac and cheese and had a quesaritto for myself. Other than a slow service, overall it was a good experience.

The food was not very good, so overly seasoned I could barely taste the food. Small wine menu and the red I had was not very good. Vibe was vibrant. A fast casual place (they brought a machine over for you to pay) priced like a full fledge restaurant.

LOVE this new spot on 14 St. I've been three times now and I will keep going back. The taco prices are very reasonable for the area and I love the margs there. They always have a special flavor marg.Neat vibe, decor, and music. Love all the plants and colorful lights. Will be back for sure!

Fabulous dinner tonight at Mexicue with a friend. The grilled cornbread with special honey butter was insane! Great staff and service, fast delivery of food, etc. We enjoyed chatting with Kendra at the end of our meal. Can’t wait to return!

Nice place! It was very crowded when we came on a Saturday night, a 45-minute wait. Love the Margarita! Guac is reallh delicious as well. The tacos are just fine for me. Our server was quick and friendly. We got her whenever we need even though the place was packed!

Run don’t walk to this place. Mexicue is my favorite spot in NYC and I screamed with glee when I learned they were coming to DC! I went there and tried everything I could. Their guacamole and queso are fantastic and their drinks are strong and tasty. You really can’t go wrong with anything here.

Lobster taco is great. The cornbread is tasty as well. Decor and ambiance make this one of my favorite places as a newcomer to DC!
