Smells so good and very friendly service.

They have a great selection and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

The flan is delicious. Lots of freshly baked goods. Also the tamales are grrreat.

Very disappointing. The staff was unable to take my order because they wanted me to talk to the ordering manager. I was told to come back at 12. And all I could say was I work. I was there over 2 months ago and my special order was taken by a new hire with no problem... not happy at all with the services. I was going to tell the two young ladies how to place the order, but that's not my job. One of the ladies wouldn't even let the girl go back and ask the Baker a question. I walked out. I am done with Mexican Town Bakery. The last two orders I put in there my cakes were old. I have ordered my wedding cake there. All of my daughters 10 birthday cakes and special occasion cakes there. They have lost my business.

This is the only place I get cakes made and they put fresh fruit 15 years I've been going here

Not sure if this is a hidden gem of SW Detroit, but if there ever was a heaven on earth, mexicantown bakery would be it. The aroma of baked goods as soon as you step into the door is 🤤 and never gets old. Try the churros, you won't regret it... And the hot chocolate!

One of the worst customer service experiences ever. Bakery is awful, runs your credit card and even when you call in order 3-5 weeks in advance, you’ll arrive and your order isn’t ready or they have no clue what you’re talking about. What a horrible bakery, this has happened several times, they won’t be getting my business anymore. Stay away from this bakery, staff is rude and the manager is even ruder then the employees. Didn’t even offer a refund after my order I placed and paid for wasn’t ready.
