Mexican Gardens

Their "red sauce" is brown and tastes like beef gravy instead of enchilada sauce. Their rice is dry and beans are grey mush. I was extremely disappointed and barely ate my food. We only came here because someone else was raving about it and now we're questioning if they ever even ate real Mexican food before?!

Today, we went to meet my parents for lunch. They suggested Mexican Gardens, we've never been there, but they said it was good. Holy cow, if you ever find yourself Downriver on Eureka east of Allen, this is a must stop. The tacos were so large and full, I barely ate all 3, and here it is nearly 5 hours later and I'm still not hungry. The service was top notch, she was quick, attentive, and patient. I'm already looking forward to a return trip.
