Metro Diner

Unique American food. Dark setting. Older decor. Good size portions. Fish and chips and chicken tenders were good. Different specials everyday. We will go back to try some different meals. Went back for breakfast a couple days later. The cinnamon rolls pancake, avacado toast, and croissant breakfast sandwich were amazing. Waitress was very helpful and suggested a way we could try all of the stuff we wanted to without getting the full individual portions. Portions are generous. Great place to eat! Mimosas and Bloody Marys available all day long as well. We will be going back.

Wow! Can’t believe I haven’t found this place sooner! Amazing food (had the holy davoli burger), amazing prices and the best service I’ve had in a LONG time! Even the owner came over to the table to say hello and see if everything was to our satisfaction! Will definitely spread the word that this place is one of the best spots in Bradenton!

Wowwww! Absolutely amazing! Have you ever been mad at your food for tasting so good? Lol sounds bazaar but it's like I was so mad that I've never experienced waffles so wonderful in America before...until now. Wonderful food. Huge portions and an amazing waitress! I can't wait to come here again! Oh in case you can't tell from the picture... I ordered the chicken and waffles!

Five stars for ambiance, food and especially the service. Our waitress, Christina June was friendly and efficient, good job all around. Diner food, excellent with one minor complaint. The french fries were a little limp. Diner french fries have to be fresh, hot and crispy. I will be back the next time we go to a show at the Regal Theatre across the street, they give 10% discount to movie goers.

This is a great place! This was my first time here and I had the pot roast (a good size portion) over mashed potatoes and it was the best I've ever had! The mini biscuit muffins they give you with your meal are delicious with the BlackBerry jam! My husband had the Turkey dinner and said it was delicious! His dinner came with a piece of pumpkin pie that was amazing! We will definitely be going back to try something different on the menu!

Properly prepared food, excellent portions in a pleasant clean atmosphere. Will be definitely coming back.

Metro Diner was very clean, welcoming, friendly, and yummy! Loved their remote controlled blinds to help with the streaming sunlight. 😂Reagan was friendly and very attentive. Definitely recommend eating here.

Food is delicious and plentiful! No way someone walks away hungry. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Lots of items to choose on menu. They also have daily specials. I had Western Omelet and my son had Chicken &Waffles.

My 1st experience at a Metro was by St. Petersburg in Fl. I now visit the one in Bradenton or order from here quite frequently. I absolutely love their grilled Zucchini it's a side but hella awesome. The pot roast is to die for!! Yummy!! If your a hot chocolate lover like myself, then ask for Jefferson to make your hot chocolate or even a hot chocolate float. He's a super awesome and chill server; very knowledgeable and all around friendly dude. One of my personal favorite places to chow down on the regular. Who doesn't love diners!!!

Wonderful place! This is an awesome restaurant. Great food.. A little pricey, but you are getting what you pay for. The chicken and waffles are amazing! They have great drinks too. Mimosas and bloody marys. The dinner time is low lighting, offering a romantic atmosphere for couples. If I could give this place a 10 star I would. Excellent service. They have healthy options. Not just fried food. Love taking the whole family here

Stopped in with the Mrs for a late lunch today.First time here, avocado toast for the Mrs and the Turkey plate for me.The food was very good. Service by Candice was excellent.Everything was well ordered and clean.Great first impression and I'm sure we will be back.

I was here not too long ago and I couldn't believe how good the food was here! The country fried steak was just perfect, great crunch and flavor! Not to mention tyler was very good! He was attentive and made sure we enjoyed our time here! :)

The staff is really lovely and took good care of us. Our food was prepared in less than 10 min. and the coffee was really great. We ordered the protein plate with scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage links, a dream !! Crispy bacon and the eggs were perfect !

It was good... Food taste good. Burger was cooked correctly. However, you can tell they are still working some small details out in regards to orginization. I'm sure it doesn't help being a newer restaurant and swamped with customers. IE was told they were sold out of a soup when our order was being finished rather than when ordered. Overall the staff was friendly and the food was good. This was my first time going to this chain.
