It is always a treat to eat here. Service is excellent and very friendly! Definitely would recommend.

Metro Diner always knocks it out of the park when it comes to comfort food! A friend of mine always gets the creamed Chipped Beef and so today I strayed from my normal and got it. I wasn't disappointed! It's very creamy and hit that comfort spot! My Mom got the Shepard's Pie, I stole a few bits and I recommend it as well! Always worth the wait!

LOVE this place!! ALWAYS great service, ALWAYS great food- they use fresh products and make AMAZING DISHES!!! Portions are pretty large - Prices are VERY reasonable. If you haven't been, I would definitely recommend Metro Diner. You won't regret it!! 😄

This is easily one of our favorite breakfast places to go to. The food and service are amazing. No wonder there is almost always a wait there. However, table rollover is quick so the wait is usually acceptable. They don't take reservations but will always answer the phone and let you know how long the wait is. Never had a bad meal nor a bad service there.

Great food and polite service. The biscuits and sausage gravy is my absolute favorite. The waffles and pancakes are great as well. You won't go wrong with the food here. The only downside is the wait time. Make sure you plan for a 30 40 min wait.

Excellent experience from start to finish! We had the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes and the San Francisco Benedict, both were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing! Nike our server was fast, efficient and checked on us the perfect amount of times. Thank you, we will return!

Just about everyone who lives in Jax knows about Metro Diner at this point, if you are one of the few that do not, then you should pay a visit. The food is good. We tend to get breakfast items when we go, even for dinner :)There are some can't miss items on the menu like the Chicken and Waffles, but I also love the biscuits and gravy as well as the Monte Cristo sandwich. Not a place to go if you are watching your waist line, but definitely worth a try :)My one recommendation is if it is a nice day, try to sit outside. The inside can be very loud, and since the kitchen is open, this location usually has a really strong smell of burned toast or something. This shouldn't prevent you from going though, just a helpful tip!

The food is awesome. The atmosphere is relaxed. The service is awesome. This is the Holy Davoli Burger!!! (Well, half of it. Couldn't wait to try it. Boy did it deliver!!!)

My sister and brother in law took us here. He said the chicken pot pie was good but just get the regular portion, not the large one. Boy! Was he right... It was huge. And it was good. My wife got the meatloaf. She said it was the best she's ever had. Good service, good food and price was decent.

Food is GREAT, service is always friendly an fast! Cant say enough good things about this place! I've been here both with just my husband an son and it was great, and brought family as a party of 15 and they were just as great an accommodated us wonderfully. The waitress took great care of us an made sure the kids got their food first. Great place to eat and you cant go wrong with anything you decide to eat! All the food is amazing!
