MesaVerde is a vegetarian/vegan restaurant that focuses not just on plants, but also the endless alchemy of fruits, vegetables, seeds, grains, nuts, herbs, spices and sauces that make food stand out in the cuisines of Spain, Sicily, North Africa and the Middle East. We only use organic produce from Santa Barbara's superb farmers market in order to bring you simple plant-based goodness.

Best described as perfect. It's so hard to find high quality vegan and gluten free meals that are both flavorful and fairly priced. Mesa Verde does this and more, with exceptional customer service and a truly unique selection.

Absolutely best restaurant in Santa Barbara. Also the best experience I've ever had at a restaurant. The staff welcomed us like we were family the first time we ever visited. The food is perfection. Was a highlight of our California vacation.

I had the Moroccan Tajine during dinner last night. It was amazing. Fantastic especially since it was a drizzly cool night. The dish was hearty, with lightly sweet flavor and a variety of texture. The fried shallot took it over the top.Service was great. They came around often to make sure I got what I needed. Excellent casual dining for superb plant-based foods.Limited parking.
