Very surprised by the high rating.I got the lamb and my friend got the sabich. The lamb was one lacking, not enough, two, it was very burned. Also the sandwich was not worth 12 bucks. As for the sabich, very mediocre and again not worth 9 dollar. The place lacks seating tables. I recommend go to reading market and enjoy the vast cuisines they have there.

Very tasty pita sandwiches and salads. Everything you would expect from a Solomonov place. Had the lamb and the sabich.

I ordered the cauliflower pita and it would have been SO good if it weren’t as salty as the Dead Sea. I am usually fine with a bit of excess salt, but this was completely inedible. Definitely could tell that if it hadn’t of been so salty that the taste was on point. I ordered to-go and waited about 20 minutes till it was ready. Granted, it was around lunch time but I still found it a bit long for a to-go/fast style food option

Crowded at lunch. If you want a different kind of experience choose the time you go wisely. Another wonderful experience. The mint tea was a highlight for me and the staff which makes or breaks a location was TOP NOTCH.

Breakfast: ordered the 'Egg on Pita' and a cappuccino to go. The cappuccino was mild but well flavored. Now the breakfast sandwich was great. It is a unique offer in Philly, with a tangy yogurt sauce, a thyme forward herb mix, and the cucumber/tomato salad some of you will recognize from Goldie. The sandwich was ate 20 minutes after it came off the grill and was still amazing. Can't wait to try their lunch offerings!

Wonderful staff and fresh food. Tight quarters. And a tad expensive for what you get.

This place was recommended to me by a friend and lived up to the hype! The hummus was fantastic and as creamy as Zahav’s in my humble opinion. The brussel sprouts were the special with it the day we went and it was incredible! The lamb pita was recommended to me and did not disappoint! The drinks were also amazing. The Yemenite latte was full of flavor. I loved it, but beware if you don’t like cardamom.

Have been here only twice, once of lunch, once for breakfast. Fast, friendly service, high quality food coming out of the kitchen. A very simple and delicious menu that is well proportioned and nutritious.

Awesome food! A little pricey for lunch, but clearly quality above any standard fast casual chain. Staff was very friendly as well.

I live across the street from this place and have been watching in anticipation over the last few months as it's been coming together. Got to try it out on day one and was pleased with the short wait both to order and then for the food which I took to go.The guy who took my order was very knowledgeable of the food which was helpful for me, having no idea what hummus foul was. I heard that Zahav, the sister restaurant has some heavenly hummus, so I knew I had to try this particular iteration. It did not disappoint. On another level.I also got the Yemenite Latte. Very tasty subtle flavor.I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu... I'm excited about their breakfast that they serve til 11.

Love this super authentic Israeli street food restaurant. Reminds me of the pitas I've had in Israel. There are good veg and meat options. Seating is limited so it gets really packed. Not a good place to go with groups. Weekday lunch time was more crowded than a weekend evening, 6:30pm about half an hour before close. It's over priced but the quality lives up to the $9-12 for a pita stuffed with veggies, salad, meats, hummus, etc. Would not recommend take out if you're going more than a few blocks because the pita will get very soggy.
