Melt Gourmet Cheeseburgers

It’s okay. Burgers were under seasoned in my opinion. I think the size of the burger might be compensate for the lack flavor. Sauces on the burgers are good. Tomato’s are thick which I’m not into. It’s just a mess. I don’t feel like I can pick it up and eat it like a burger. Milkshakes were okay. It’s just okay.

Quality is top notch. Burgers were excellent. Buns delicious and fresh. Toppings fresh and crisp. I'm only knocking down 1 star because I feel certain items are a bit overpriced, but these days that's the norm isn't it? :)If I'm only basing on service/food, I'd give it 5 stars.

Lovely place, great service, and wonderful spirit. However, I think they have their grill up too high since my burger was raw on the inside and burnt on the outside. It was all cooked so it was edible. Just wasn't something I'd drive out of my way for.

Fantastic spot for a gourmet burger with multiple options for cheese, sauce, and toppings! Sides for whatever mood strikes you and thick milkshakes await those looking to spoil themselves. Can get crowded around lunch time, but you can call in your order if you don't want to wait. Seating can get a little cramped so would recommend getting it to go if you don't deal with that well.

Possibly the best burger I have ever eaten. Only complaint about the food was that the burger was so big and tall it was very hard to eat. But it was amazing. Service was fast but coming at lunchtime on a Saturday, it was super busy and there was a wait to get to sit down (supposed to sit after you order at the counter). Also delicious milkshakes.

Really good burgers. Everything made to order, great combinations and their fries were crispy and delicious. I like that they had potential pets to adopt on their walls.

I’ve seen some mixed comments on the burger buns, so I wanted to chime in that I think they are terrific. They are made fresh on-site as people pass through to order, and they are large enough for the burger but not so dense that they’re difficult to wrap one’s mouth around. And (this is a matter of personal preference) the bun has a mild sour-dough tang to it, which I think is delicious.

It is simply the best burger you can get in Virginia... it is nationally ranked by most foodie magazines...The price is immensely reasonable for what you get and the quality and quantity of food doesn't compare to anything in its price range...If you have a burger fanatic as a husband, child, cousin or friendemy... this is where you take them to make their heart sing!I love the onion rings with balsamic glaze as the perfect complement to their perfectly cooked burger... the bun to meat ratio is spot on and everything from the meat, vegetables and bun is fresh and thoughtfully prepared!As Peking Gourmet is to perfect bite of duck... so is The Melt to the perfect burger experience in VA!It is a tiny place within a strip mall... not many seats and they don't plan on expanding... ever... so my advice is for you to go at weird hours like 5pm or 8pm dinner and 11am or 2pm lunch... you're welcome!

Lives up to its reputation! Best burger I've had in northern Virginia. The regular fries were nice and clean, but not spectacular. The sweet potato fries were great. Baked beans were a little thin, but had great flavor. My burger was a tad dry, even tough it was medium at its thickest part, but the flavor was great, and you get a big patty for the price. Will definitely go back, and recommend.

Even though we live in Springfield, VA, we would gladly drive to Leesburg for this amazing burgers! Their buns are baked each morning and the burger meats are thick and juicy. I also love their sweet potato fries.

Great burger, quite the gut buster but amazing. There chocolate peanut butter shake was unreal with real peanuts. The downfall here is the fries. Some were good others overcooked or undercooked. The ones done right were very good but to much of a mixed bag. I'd suggest you ask for the fries cooked well done. I certainly would go back over and over again!!!

Really delicious! The veggie burger was HUGE. It sounds like it would be really spicy because they mention peppers and spiced but it's very mild. Also generous portions of fries and onion rings. The mac & cheese was really good as well.

This place is as good as advertised. Amazing selection and high quality ingredients made this otherwise hole in the wall establishment a cant miss.

I've been hearing about the place for a while and was finally in Leesburg and decided to check them out. All I can say is that I wish I hadn't waited so long to try them out because this was hands down one of the best cheeseburgers I've ever had. They are well deserving of the hype. I'll now find myself trying to come up with excuses to go back out to Leesburg just so that I can eat here again.

This place has the best hamburgers. It's consistent and done well. Clean place and good staff as well. Will continue coming here
